Can anyone tell me what the differences between the stock rotor and the EBR upgraded rotor is? If my best friend owns a machine shop, can I take the old one to his shop to drill six holes in it on a CNC machine? Also, if anyone is still looking for old stators for the 1125 CR, I would be happy to donate my old one. Mine went out at 85 mph and everything shut off when I was on the freeway. It's a miracle I didn't die. Harley Davidson's fix was to put another crappy stater on my bike. Now that one has just gone out. There goes $2500. Thank you Harley Davidson! Unfortunately, somebody will have to die on one of these bikes before Harley Davidson will issue a safety recall and fix these bikes properly. By the way, nobody but me will ever service my bike again.

The rotor is modified with a precision EDM, not something you can do on a normal CNC machine. See this thread for some more details: http://badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/290431/ 665658.html |
