I have a m2l shock and seat. Can I just lower the front end by just loosening the triple tree and lowering the forks or is it best to get a m2l front end?

Sliding the forks up into the triple clamp will change rake/trail/handling etc, making the bike less stable.
can you buy shorter springs?
