so, now that EBR is back, but American Sport Bike and 5 Odro are closing, what are the best sources/options for parts? i am in need of rotor/stator and associated gasket. i installed a Ricks Stator last year, along with a new voltage regulator, but my stator just fried today.

Is drilling the rotor yourself a viable option?

Google at the top of the page is your friend...here's an example of search results:

not a viable option for me. no garage, no driveway, limited tools. there is a Harley dealer not far away, and NRHS is about an hour north of me. if i can gather the parts, i will have one of them do the work.

Thanks Nuts4mc. I'll see where and if I can find a place that has an EDM. If anyone knows of one in Edmonton Alberta, please post the information.

Assuming your current rotor is good, you can get $250 back after swapping one modified by EBR onto your bike

http://www.erikbuellracing.com/store/models/1125r/ 2009-2010-charging-system-rotor-modification.html

An OEM stator is stupidly expensive, so I'd get another one from Ricks but with the EBR rotor. St. Paul Harley can get you the gasket.

I found 2 local businesses that do ed machining. I'll check out what is possible locally. They may have the time now that the oil industry has slowed down so much.

Make sure you use your rotor from EBR right away and get the old one back to them. There's like a 45day limit on that. I waited too long. My rotor was pretty expensive.

Buellers, I want to give a shout-out to WireCare.com. Bought a Deutsch DTP04-4P connector kit; didn't realize the kit came with sockets instead of pins. Contacted their customer service, and replacements are on the way. The price was excellent, customer service was outstanding. Keep them in mind for your electrical projects. FYI: I have no stake/investment in them, I found them when I was doing a search for connectors.
