is anyone wanting to get a ride group together to go to Ralph Waynes? I love the way a group of Buells sounds like WWII fighter planes roaring across I-435 to Ralph's place |

I left Willie G's Bastard Stepchildren patches for Buells I saw at Ralphs. I talked to Wild Bill for a few minutes. What happened to this site. We all were pretty good about staying in touch and doing some things together for the common good and fun with Buells. Sorry to see it become less than it was. |

Hehe, yeah not much warmer on the way home either! KS HIPO passed me right after 151st when I was still doin about 75-80. I thought I was toast but he didn't even look twice? Looked like the same guy that got me a few weeks ago for following too close/no blinker in rush hour traffic?! He was out to get me. |

Yeah, I passed him just after Wal-Mart on 175th. He was in the line of traffic that forms in the right lane there from that intersection to the freeway. I knew he was back there, but was not sure how far since I slingshot off the onramp and hit the gas. That's how I caught up to you. I was putting distance and cars between me and him. I saw him yesterday around the same time, but I caught the light and he got on the freeway before me. He caused a bit of a back-up just north of the weigh station. I was working to avoid that this morning. I think he lives somewhere around here and must be heading to the barracks to start a shift when we see him. |

I'm pretty selective about who I call.....Dave! I look forward to checking in here late in the evenings when things slow down a bit, it's been awfully quiet in these parts. I figure with the cold weather setting in traffic inside will pick-up. I'll start the flow OK, since I haven't checked in with alot of you lately I'll give you the rundown. Ella is getting bigger (2 1/2 years now) and it is a full time job un-doing what her mother is doing..... there should be "keep away from children" stickers all over high heel shoes....and hardwood floors are a mixed blessing. Phrases like "you eat that natty tuff? should not send sourkraut out your nostrils...
on the beach in san clemente two weeks ago
DISNEYLAND! I also started my own business a short time ago (june) and believe it or not we still have food on the table....the business involves designing and building packaging machinery. I'll leave that for another day. I haven't made any progress on either the bike or the car in quite a while. the firebolt sits quietly (for once!) awaiting some attention. haven't decided about the 1125 yet....might have to test drive it to be sold. might just get the MV and be done lusting...more likely to find a beater 'busa and ride it to new york for the weekend. just rambling....man am I jonesing....Speaking of me riding, which hasn't happened much this year... Fayetteville AR, this past weekend I tagged along with the stunt team for the Bikers Blues and Barbequee festival...HUGE! warmed up the crowd with the crf50 before each show, switchback wheelies and unicircles all weekend! gotta see it to believe it. we had a good time. until meth-head grabbed some of our goodies (iehone) and broke camp. Enough.... Halloween Party Saturday Oct 27 my house....2:00pm if you are bringing children(yes we are entertaining the midgets this time). I am going to revive an age old tradition at the SAM house again this year.......This will be roughly the sixth annual Halloween bash (not consecutive though). Costumes requested but not required Figure about 6-9 before the Crazy arrives (live band, kegs, crf racing.....bonfire? coincidence?....) alright who's next? |

I have rode pretty much everday this year and hardly ever see another buell. I think I have seen Duff a couple times but usually going opp directions. There is that time that he road a wheelie next to my on 435-W for like ever. Put the bike in the garage last week cause im sick of riding it broke so hopefully in the near future I will have the money to get it road worthy again. When I got my bike I was excited about meeting all the other buell riders from what I had read on this forum... that has not been the case though.. Well maybe it will get better... |

Here are the lyrics in case you are hooked on that little tune like I know Sam is: GO! I'm gonna wake you up early Cause I'm gonna take a ride with you We're going down to the Honda shop I'll tell you what we're gonna do Put on a ragged sweatshirt I'll take you anywhere you want me to First gear (Honda Honda) it's alright (faster faster) Second gear (little Honda Honda) I lean right (faster faster) Third gear (Honda Honda) hang on tight (faster faster) Faster it's alright It's not a big motorcycle Just a groovy little motorbike It's more fun that a barrel of monkeys That two wheel bike We'll ride on out of the town To any place I know you like First gear (Honda Honda) it's alright (faster faster) Second gear (little Honda Honda) I lean right (faster faster) Third gear (Honda Honda) hang on tight (faster faster) Faster it's alright It climbs the hills like a matchless Cause my Honda's built really light When I go into the turns Lean [Tilt] with me and hang on tight I better turn on the lights So we can ride my Honda tonight First gear (Honda Honda) it's alright (faster faster) Second gear (little Honda Honda) I lean right (faster faster) Third gear (Honda Honda) hang on tight (faster faster) Faster it's alright First gear (Honda Honda) it's alright (faster faster) Second gear (little Honda Honda) I lean right (faster faster) Third gear (Honda Honda) hang on tight (faster faster) Faster it's alright |

I like how the girls in that Hondels video have to bounce up and down on the seats to get their kicks because there is no V-twin vibrating their Pooney like being on a Buell or Harley would.

Can't believe I had to miss the infamous halloween party at your place last weekend, sam! Was lookin forward to that since you told me about it, but ended up goin outta town. Hopefully it went well enough to still have another one next year/season/month/week, or we can just party all the time. Haven't heard from a lot of people here lately. Suppose anyone rides anymore? |

I pulled my bike out of the warehouse and rode it around the block at work 2 weeks ago. Does that count? Hopefully I'll get some miles in next season since I'll be finished with school at the end of February. |

Uly Down this Morning Hi guys Driving to work today I saw a Black Uly (no bags) down on Wornall about 93rd. I couldn't see the plate MO or KS. I know Jim Shea who used to work at Gail's rode one that description. The rider was gone just the bike in the road with a cop waiting for a tow truck apparently. At first I didn't know it was a Uly then I saw the rear section lying in the grass torn off. Good luck to whomever it was. |
