I hate to sell her, as she's been a perfect bike for me since I bought her in '98. But, I recently purchased another S1 with some engine work and I can't justify owning 2 of the same model. I have literally NEVER had a problem with her. She has great power, handles GREAT, shifts super slick with smooth clutch engagement. I quit riding for the last few years, so just a month ago I got her running like new. I've only ridden her a handful of times since I got her going. She's never been down and always babied. I'm in Vacaville CA. It's between Sacramento and San Fran (Google Maps for the exact location). I'm willing to ship it if necessary. I've never done it before, but from what I've read it's not that hard and it only costs a few hundred dollars. I'd love to sell the Buell to a fellow Badwebber, so I know she's going to a good home. Like I said in the original post, she's is a sweeeeeeeeeeet bike! If you guys want more details or have questions, please ask! I forgot to add that she also has a Yost Power Tube jet kit. I really nailed the jetting spot on because she comes on the throttle so smooth off idle. It's really easy to get that throttle cracked open mid-corner without even the slightest disturbance. She's an absolute dream! | ||

Matt, I've received a few e-mails but so far no one has answered my replies. Let me know if your bike sells or you are able to come up with the $$$. I've done some research into shipping options so I have a few good leads on reputable companies. | ||

Well for me I'm still counting to see if I will be ok changing bike with the new house and looking at how much I can get for my current bike thats why you didn't get more from me also I still don't know if I'll be in San Diego in Nov which would be very nice money wise and for the ride back on that super nice bike. | ||

Jean-Sebastien, I haven't done a multi-day trip on a S1, but I just did a 6 hour (6.5 hour total - only a couple breaks for food/gas/nature calls) ride on my other S1 and it was fine. I'm planning to do about 8-9 hour ride on Monday (not including stops). Even though the seat doesn't have much real estate, the riding position is about perfect for me. I'm not small either - 5'11"/220 lbs! I don't necessarily need to sell this bike right away, but I Definitely need to sell it! It would be nice to line something up, so let me know if you're going to San Diego and maybe we can work something out. | ||

Shawn - no leaks, never had a mechanical problem with her, clear title (never been down, or tipped over), electrical is great (new battery too) - runs GREAT! I e-mailed you for further details. | ||

James, I'd be happy to let you test ride if you've got the money in hand. When are you going to be in Vacaville? I'm live right by where you'll be working - about 5 minutes away. Matt, sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but I sold it just now.  Good for me, as I'm surprised it took this long. I knew that as soon as someone saw it they would buy it. Sure enough, the first person to actually come look in person bought it. Good luck finding your S1! | ||
