I can think of more than a few BadWeB kids that might just get something like this. Shred and New12r's boys would love this I'm sure. |

my brother had a bandit bicycle. 20 inch, black and gold based on the smokey and the bandit movies and I had a chopper bike. His was far more practical even with the plastic add-on bits and fake lights. I learned that choppers suck when it comes to turning a corner. We both lusted over the 70s or early 80s yamaha bicycle that had full suspension (even though they were HEAVY) I remember seeing the Evel Knievel bikes at the store...I wanted one of those too! |

My kids are still loving that little razor electric dirt bike. The thing doesn't climb well, but on smooth ground and a straight line, the thing hauls! Its probably pushing 15mph... |

http://www.bajamotorsports.net/DirtBikes/dr90.htm 500 bux at pepboys. They're giving them away! Its a China-Knock-off. Honda parts fit, many with no modification, and some with a little modification. Best buy in my opinion and a good beginner bike for kids. They have several other sizes too. The only catch is that it does not come tuned from the factory, it actually runs quite lean. No kidding, many Honda parts are bolt ons... At least with RE: to the link I posted (not the Ducati) http://www.4strokes.com/forums/default.asp?CAT_ID= 28 These bikes are shameless Honda knockoffs. It took me about 25 minutes to tune and the sucker goes. Even I had a good time but my knee kept hitting the kill switch My little bro was the one who stumbled into this great deal. He was going to return it but all it needed was a tune. It cracks me up how cheap they are selling these things, and how they get away with it. |

Back to the Schwinn Krate bikes, I lost about 7 Krates and 6 or 7 more Sting Rays in a shop fire a few years back.... Growing up, I beat the tar out of my '74 Honda XR75 that I bought used w/ my paper route $. |
