Loni - Realistically I haven't been riding for the past 3 seasons. We are in the raising kids mode and I have other hobbies that are expensive and I do them year round (quilting/scrapbooking). I told Mike I wanted to sale it and once our kids are grown I can buy a bike then and we can spend more time riding. As it is now it is very hard to get child care to go on a weekend ride. I still plan on making it out to socialize and ride along to Canada in the truck if Mike goes next year. You all can't get rid of me that easy. Kimberlie |

YeeeeeeeHaaaaa! I am finally getting out of this God forsaken place!! Should be home by Saturday. Of course the forecast is for 50's and rain, but then who cares right? Only gonna be home for a couple of weeks and then Janel and I are off to Phoenix to pick up our new (to us) S2. The ride back should be a great chance to get reacquainted Pete |

The IMS (International Motorcycle Show) is coming around again. November 30-December 2 at the Quest Exhibition Hall in Seattle. The Buell national truck will be there with factory reps and the new bikes. I will be down there on Saturday and Sunday, come down and say hi. We should plan a ridin/eatin/drinkin/type get together for the local Buellers. Chime in if you are coming and ideas for the get together. I have discount tickets and the Silverdale shop, if you cant make it to me, most of the dealers in the area do too. |

Galen, well no viper power...sorry. But I did just score a used (whole 700 miles) 2007 FJR1300 on a great deal! Had a chance to take it out for a while yesterday. Doesn't have the all out grunt of the Sprint, but damn it's nice on the highway. Kept trying to find 6th gear (only has five). Going to be a nice road bike for sure. Very comfy yet pretty nimble for its size. The Metzler z6's aren't real confidence inspiring, though. Plan is to swap the Sprint for a Street Triple next year. Kind of a road bike / fun bike type of thing! Okay, Bob, maybe there's a dual sport in the future...someday. |

Hey Firemanjim! Bet you're glad you don't live down in the Southland! Yikes. Luckily some friends in San Clemente and in Anaheim have remained unscathed, except for the gagging smoke. Anyway, if you do get the chance to do one of Imt's tours, definitely do it! It was such an incredible trip (airlines notwithstanding). I know if/when I get the chance, I will go back. I threatened to learn Catalan and apply for a job there. Get in touch if you want more info. I hope you checked out the pic links I posted before. Okay, and now for something completely different.... World Superbike returns to the US next year at Miller Motorsport Park. Weekend ending June 1. I'm down for sure. |

Eric, I hear Michelins are really good. Wait....they are really good! As for IMS, there were a couple of Canucks there last year as I recall. I'm sure we'll be back! Harv |
