Mike, I had noticed the new display at Ray Price the last time I was over there. They have definitely made an effort to get the Buell bikes and Buell gear together; visually a big improvement over what they had before. Glad to see "our" dealership making more of an effort. I hope it's a sign that the Buell brand is selling well in the Raleigh market. That could only be good for all of us. Paul |

Hi there! Happy to see there is a club in NC for Buell nuts. I am a new owner in Charlotte. Would like to know how to get involved and get some seat time with other "buellers". |

Hey Jon! Welcome to BadWeB and to . There are a Buellers out in your area, but you will also find that our eastern boys like to travel west for day/weekend trips. Be sure to check out our adventure thread. Don't wait for an invitation, just post and say you're coming. Right now our Big Adventure Boy (Jlnance) is posting his Big Adventure on Tale Section (Losing my mind to stay sane). Once again, welcome and hope you're enjoying your Buell. |

I just found out US DESMO is holding track days this Sat/Sun at Carolina Motorsports Park. They still have openings in all classes. I do believe that I'm going to go down for both days with the new bike. Anybody else want to go? It's mostly Euro and USA bikes. |

Hi Mike, can't wait to see the new bike. I'll be heading to Laurel Springs with Pat tomorrow to ride around a bit on the Parkway. Rented a small cabin behind Stations Inn, beside the trout pond, for one night. It's always nice to get out of town. Jerry, if you and Denise are out and about, come and join us for a beer or two if you can. We should be back at the Inn by 4:00. |

Jerry...We plan on heading back fairly early Sunday, but I'm sure we can meet up there one of these days. Probably for the best, cause Pat and I feel colds coming on. My son was over here coughing up a storm a couple of days ago. Thought to myself,"this is not good". But, we are still going and hope we feel up to riding to the Mill and back. Might also check out the winery on 18. Ya'll take care! |

Twig, we've got to get together and catch up and ride. Carlos, let's plan it. I know we would have a really great time. I've decided to just do tomorrow's track day .... I've been reminded there is some other stuff that needs doing.... |

Mike, sounds good. Let's do something before Thanksgiving. Down your way is fine with me. Maybe a ride, cookout and sleepover in that order, somewhere. Last time we rode together, you did'nt see me the day before. I was one sick old dog, but I did have a good time getting that way! Almost forgot, I picked up my stolen chainsaw, weedeater, and a circular saw from the GPD this past Wednesday. The evidence room is only 1 1/2 miles from Gilbarco. I picked them up on my lunch break, and almost teared up at the sight of my long lost McCulloch 710 chain saw. The gas tank smells great. No varnish. Should be no problem getting it started after 4 years. (Message edited by twig on October 19, 2007) |

Hey Mike the Bike, will Ray price mount a tire that was not bought from them? It si an odd tire for my sporty, and it requires a tube so I would at least have to buy a tube for ya. |

Mark - Yes, they will mount it, you don't even need an appointment. It's about $35 if you take the tire off the bike. |

Hey Jerry, we had a real nice ride up to the Mill and back. Pat really enjoyed it. It was her longest ride to date, around 150 miles. We used the city-cross seat for the trip, and was a real PIA after 100 miles. We bought some black cherry preserves from the Mill, expensive, but well worth it. Stations Inn will stay open thru mid November, weather permitting. I also found out the 12 restored rooms down and across the street were never used this year. Seems they are still fighting city hall over septic system issues, which is a shame. A $170'000 investment, and the owner got no return this season. The rooms have been ready for use since early spring. The leaves have alot more color than we expected. Take care! |

Mark, as Jim said, we will mount a loose tire on a loose wheel all without an appointment. Kristi, I am making the first steps for arranging Jim's story time. Jim and Rebecca, When would work for you? |
