Go to the vanson factory store. The lady I spoke too on the phone said they have most sizes on the shelf and they can taylor it for ya. Best of all it is not too far from where ya live. But Call before you make the trip |

Cycle gear stores sell several brands and carry several sizes of what they carry. If you happen to live near one they rock. Frank Thomas is their main line, but they also carry Alpine Star, Joe Rocket, etc.. They also stock helmets, gloves, and boots. http://www.cyclegear.com/store.cfm |

I just bought a Vanson "ACE" jacket off the shelf from the factory. It's a size 50. Made the call and within 3 days I was wearing the jacket in Arizona. No fuss, no muss. Their size are pretty true, unlike a lot foreign made leathers. |

FWIW some internet stores are very good about returns and exchanges. Newenough.com is one of them. |

Yeah, I'd go gold or blue before red on the star trek leathers because of the high mortality rate amongst the red shirts. |

I was thinking of getting a set of black and white leathers with a white fur mohawk up the back. |

Might as well. Get a matching black helmet with white mohawk to complete the look. Think Killboy would take my picture? |

Contrary to what his username may convey, Ft_bstrd isn't really fat. He is a big bstrd, though. |
