Hey, I got an 06XB9SX with a modified inner airbox. I was hoping someone with a stock 07 XB9 could send me their Factory front and rear fuel maps. I am using ECMSPY, so if your running that then just send me the files. If your using another ECM interface then a simple printscreen will work for me. PM me if anyone has it Thanks |

I have the same setup and often wondered if the '07 ECM Maps would make it run any better. --Sean |

Al at American Sport Bike said there's a good bit of difference between the '06 and '07 xb9 maps. I've bid on a new ecm, but haven't gotten one yet. Supposedly I can get the dealer to reprogram my '06, but the first person I talked to at the dealer wasn't a big help. |

I remember reading that the difference on the 12 ECM for 07 was a big improvement, something to do with short trips fouling out plugs and such on the 06 models. But I am hoping that the 07 fuel map for the 9 is a bit Healthier with fuel because of the new airbox allowing much more air flow. I just recently got my interface cable, but I am trying to check the AFV after each ride to see what the computer is trying to adjust for with the open airbox mod. so far I have checked it twice both times its been 107% which is not too bad, but I would like to see if the 07 maps will bring it a little closer to 100% It has also been much colder hear lately so I am hoping for a couple more warm days to make sure its not just the temp drop causing the AFV adjustment Just starting to learn more about my bike and its brain, its fun. |

I have a stock 2007 XB9SX ECM that is out of my bike (I switched to a race ECM). I'd be happy to sell it at a VERY reasonable price, if that helps you... Please PM me if you are interested. |

i compared the '07 12 fuel maps to my '05 12 maps and the values looked exactly the same (?) maybe the file was labeled wrong. EEPROM is definitely different though. 07 would load into my 05 Race ECM but i couldn't zero out the TPS afterward. pretty sure you can only apply different EEPROM from a similar ECM type, e.g. GB231 -> GB231 but the 07 data was a no go for me. ended up tweaking by hand with great results. Yea I am still a little confused about the eeprom stuff. So if you can not yet change timing and such using the ECMSPY will it change if you just copy a whole new eeprom. In other words I would like to get the 07 fuel map to compare and save. but if I got an 07 EEPROM would that also include timing maps and such that you cant see, or just everything that is visible in one file? I guess I am still not fully understanding the difference |

EEPROM stores everything. if you change the EEPROM, the maps are in there too. also, you can tweak timing tables with ECMSpy, just have to know how and where to do it. no easy viewer/editor like the fuel maps though. |

You can only reflash IDENTICAL FIRMWARE EEPROM. You can however reflash any on the maps you wish individually. This includes spark, fuel, cold start, etc, in the case of maps without a user interface in ECMSpy you just need to find the relevant sections of your existing EEPROM and manually modify. From memory there are currently at least 3 firmware versions of the XB9 ECM, being CB060 (02-03), GB231 (04) & IB310 (05-07). Whilst the fuel & spark maps are identical in the CB060 & GB231, thier location differs significantly. Subsequently as some of you are finding they cannot be entirely flashed without errors. Now brings me to the Race ECM. Curently I am aware of two firmware versions being CB060 & GB231. I would love to have a copy of an IB310 if it exists. From my analysis the CB060 & GB231 are identical in terms of values & performance. |

Bumping this back up. no one has an 07 map for a XB9? I would also like to see if anyone has the Fuel Maps and or the EEprom for an 05 and up XB9 race ECU. I know you guys are probably thinking "what a jerk asking for stuff for free" but I figure its worth asking. |

we need a complete catalogue of eeprom/maps for all EFI years/models/race/stock on badweb. Can we add a ECMspy section to the KV |
