Wow, the wild man of road racing laid low by a truck whilst riding a scooter! It just shows we never know what is in store for us. I remember when he burst onto the GP scene with his flamboyant style and long hair, giving the established stars a big shock in the process. He will be sorely missed. |

Sad news indeed. Just goes to prove that it's not the bike that's dangerous, it's all the other people on the road. Abe had incredible skill as a rider, but it only takes one small lapse in your attention..... Remember that you are invisible and they ARE out to get you! I'll have to take the bike out tomorrow in memory of Norrick. |
