So have you decided on a price yet?? Also, how do you think this will work on a 9? |

And do you have some pics of it mounted, I am curious to where the right side outlet comes out in relation to the idler pulley. Great job by the way!! |

Thanks for the compliment, yes it will work on a 9. I'll post a pic of the R/H outlet. Its close on a 12 but the 9, I believe will be fine! I'll verify prior to making any cuts though. (Measure 3 times, cut once!) As far as the price, I'm not a BadWeb sponsor so I cant advertise. |

No, it weighs about the same. What comes out and goes back weigh about the same and its only shortened about 1/8th of an inch maybe less, just the width of a band saw cut. I have VERY good reasons to keep the length!!!! Also anyone who lives in a smog check area will like it too! its indiscernible to the naked eye that its modified. Buell engineers did a great job with the stocker, I dont change much. (Message edited by mesafirebolt on October 11, 2007) |

Could you explain what are the internal tubbing modifications? Or is it secret? |

I wouldn't say secret, just proprietary. Being an engineer I'm well versed in flow dynamics. I did the best I could with what was already there. |

Shane, Modifying the fuel map can make a huge difference. If you are less than happy with dyno results, consider using DirectLink. Look at what it does for the Buell race can! Keith |

The muffler sounds great. Are you running a race ecm with it? I live in Chandler and would love to hear it in person. |

I'm very happy with the seat of the pants feel, I'm sure a remap would add more numbers but I'm financially strapped! Perhaps in the future I can look into it, maybe with the help of American Sport Bike. Jonzin, I'm in East Mesa not far from Superstition Harley, I'd be glad to show it to you. PM me if your interested, and I'm running a stock ECM, I disconnected the battery and let the AFV relearn itself, been doing great. |

I disconnected the battery and let the AFV relearn itself, You Sure About That? |

I sure hope so! It seemed to smooth out after a 45 minute ride. I've always read that after you perform mods to anything with a computer, you need to disconnect the battery to let the computer "relearn" the values. |

I don't think that the Buell ECM resets that way. Only certain kinds of flash memory get erased when you power down. I believe that you have to use a software package plugged into your bike to reset the AFV. |

Either Direct Link OR VDSTS Software will do this for you. |

The movies were pretty good. You need to do one more though. A fly by. Need to here it coming by the camera at full song and passing on into the distance. I bet it'd sound sweet. |

You can see in the last picture, there's about a quarter of an inch between the pulley and the outlet. Believe me I was a little nervous at first but the measurements were good (Being an engineer DID pay off mom!)After several hundred miles with some of it pretty hard in the Tortilla Flats curves, I'm proud to say "No Worries" (Message edited by mesafirebolt on October 15, 2007) |
