Me and my buddy will being going down Friday afternoon. We both have XB12r's. Red and Black. I live in Jville, so it's only a 1.5 hour ride. I know, I'm lucky. Bike WEEK last year was awesome. We were at the races the above pics were taken at. Too sweeeeeeet. We are staying right on A1A. Dirty Harrys' or Boothill anyone? Let me know if anyone is interested in meeting up. Let's get some Buells together.... |

Sounds good. I'll be the guy talking about roasting my rear tire off in the burn out pit, then not doing it b/c spending $180.00 on a new tire doesnt sound like fun. I'll just watch the other drunkies destroy their baggers. Here is my number if any Buellers want to meet up. 904.237.3185 |

I just came back from there, lots of bikes around. ATGATTers would be apoplectic. Nice sea breeze. (Message edited by Rich on October 17, 2007) |

I'm heading down tomorrow night with a buddy of mine, I'm on the CityX and he will be on a Suzuki DRZ 400 and we'll be camping in the in-field area like usual. If anybody wants to hang out just stop by. Mutationracer, when is a good time to stop by your garage area? I would love to check the bikes out and chat for a few. Ken |

Been seeing a lot of Buells running around last couple of days. Seems like when people get into town for the events they cave in to peer pressure and become instant tough guys and leave their gear at the motel |

Rode over to Daytona for the day yesterday. Walked the manufacturer tents over by the track. Disappointed that many of the manufacturers didn't have their '08 bikes there. Rode up to Destination Daytona. Bigger crowd there. My buddy ran his ZRX (with NOS) on the Dyno Drag trailer. He pulled a 223.3hp 8.43 at 164.3mph 1/4 mile spraying and a 181.9hp 8.906 sec at 152.3mph without spraying. Was pretty impressive and drew quite a crowd. Wore my Buell Racing/Walt Sipp t-shirt. As I was walking back to the parking lot, passed the tram going the other way. Noticed a guy in a Buell mechanic style shirt sitting on the tram and kinda nodded at him. He noticed my shirt and jumped off the tram and ran me down. Turns out it was Walt himself. Told me he is running with the James Gang this weekend. Just wanted to say it was good meeting him and good luck this weekend. To steal a phrase...You meet the nicest people on a Buell. |

OK, So I'm sitting in hell right now. You all may know it as 'work'. Although, today, I have succeeded in doing as little as possible. When you think about it, a minute is a long time. I gotta stop looking at the clock. T-minus about 3 hours till my buddy and I rip it down 95 to Daytona. OF COURSE IT'S RAINING NOW! Of course the 2.5+ hours of bike detailing will be wasted. Room is already booked, no refundo. I guess this is what separates the men from the boys. |

Got my steak sandwich and beer(s) at the Iron Horse last night, but as it turns out it wasn't the highlight of the event that it usually is. When I arrived there and was parking, some fat bald "biker" tough guy clown says "why don't you get that piece of shit out of here". So I look at this moron standing next to his "me too" garish bike and said " if I did that you wouldn't have a way home". Fat boy looks at the crowd and tries to burn out leaving and stalls out drawing a round of laughter from the crowd. Oh well, most of the fake tough guys will be gone by this afternoon.................. |

Hey Al, how is it going?? I was a bit disappointed that no 1125R's were even on display. Here are a couple of photos: RE Blast Custom, my BBW @ Cabbage Patch, V8 choppers at Iron Horse.

Hi Frank, Sorry I didn't get to see you up here in beautiful downtown Daytona Beach, or hardly any other Buellers this event. It's the curse of the motorcycle business. |

Have to give a hand to the folks working the buell demos, they did not even have a tent to cover their registration tables and get out of the rain. My hat is off to all of you for sticking it out and demoing the bikes for us. |

My buddy and I saw about 6 other Buells not including ours. A couple Blasts and Lightnings. We also saw our twins. 2 people had our exact bikes, red and black firebolts. I saw my twin cruising right in front of me down old dixie. I pulled up next to him and we all rode together. That's such a great ride, down old dixie. Anyway, this was crazy. I didn't do it because my equilibrium was already off a bit, I was in no state of mind to play tricks on myself. I was afraid of irreversible damage! Anyone try it. The guy running the tent made it look pathetically easy. I watched a few people do it. pretty funny. More pics of my weekend posted later today....
