I'll take two sets, too, Andy. Thanks. I'd also like some screws and washers. |

ok, received email from predyne. called and ordered 10 sets plunger & o rings. will advise when the parts arrive. costs were same as steve noted in above post; plunger $11.50, o ring .80. going to compare phillips body bolts so sure to order correct bolt. andyh ps - any way to add fork oil to the rs1200 roma forks w/o disassembling? manual seems to be lacking this info. would like to ride more before cold weather rebuild (Message edited by hotrats on September 27, 2007) |

Hey Andy, great stuff! Thanks for your work. Let me know your PayPal address as soon as you know how many $ I owe you. I agree the manual is very lacking in details of the WP Roma forks. If you have a part number for fork seals I'd appreciate you sharing it please. (I have a leaky RHS fork leg). In fact anything you find out about the forks I'd like to know. Thank you. |

Hi Guys may I help you :-) Perhpas you have access to a S2 Service Manual. The S2 uses the same WP fork as the RSS. The rebuild is very good explained in the manual. For the fork seals you can use KTM fork seals as the KTM Duke first deirĀ“tion has used also WP ROMA 4054 forks, even the fork seals from the first S1 S3 with WP fork should fit. Best wishes Basti |

I changed the fork seals on my S2 about 3 months ago. The local HD store even had them in stock. If you like I can send you a pdf out of the S2 manual... |

Any extra kits get ordered? I'm late to the discussion as usual, but I'd take a couple if available. Anyone got a wiring diagram for the switch/noids? My reserve quit working after my tank was rebuilt I'm assuming a crossed wire somewhere. |

Josh, should be easy to sort it with a 12v bulb in a bulb holder or a multimeter. I "think" it works like this- Ignition "on" sends voltage to the first solenoid and it opens the main tap. Toggle the reserve switch and it puts voltage on the second solenoid and it opens the reserve tap. There's only 3 wires to the reserve switch, voltage in, voltage out and earth. Should be easy to troubleshoot. HTH. |

ok, rebuild kits arrived. the cost for the o-ring increased, from .80 to $2.30 each. plunger assembly cost $11.50 each. shipping total was $5.89, for a total cost of $143.89 send a email & i'll send payment info. mailing costs via priority mail should be about $4.00, i guess (except for Steve). paypal or personal check ok. i'll include a copy of invoice also. Josh - i ordered 10 kits. let you know if any extra. andyh |

Jim, Thanks, but I'm not actually in need of one, just stock piling parts. Hell I have a whole new/OEM unpainted fairing in the attic. But if you think it would do better sitting in my toolbox than yours let me know, I have plenty of room. |
