Dead tired. I ran the 4 hour endurance race and then followed up with the sprint races the next day. I beat my old best times again and again and then tucked my front in the last corner of the last lap in my second race. Very minor. I ran strong, I got re-teched for the next race and then heard for the pit/crew of rider xxx to come see the race director, followed shortly by the life flight copter. I had already met my goals, I was spooked a little and I had just heard earlier in the weekend that a long time friend of mine died on Friday. I called it a good weekend and went home. Vik |

Good to see you posting. Congrats. on your sucess. Is your season about over or do you race year 'round? Wondering because we need our home back. Its nice to have this spot...on the bottom...but, well, I even miss Cecil. Any hope of seeing the Sac return to its Glory? (Snail shuffles off, kicking aimlessly at things.) |

Snail, Yes, it will be back. The timing for the hack couldn't have been worse. I still have track days Oct 6/7 and the final race weekend Oct 20/21. I've got three more classes until I'm done with my degree and I've got some other crap coming to an end, soon. I simply don't have the time to do anything right now. Vik |

it will be back. Today I was finally able to re-download the forum software. I'll put some time into searching for a new hosting service this week. Should be back in a week or so, one way or another. Ditto on Vik's timing comments. It hit right before the event where I make 90% of my yearly income. I had no time before hand to look into it, and have had little afterwards as I clean up the business end of stuff from the event. I'm getting to the point where I can see day light again. I'll get it back up and running... unless the trout start biting at my fave lake, or a few bucks show up on the sacred ChopTop family hunting grounds. |

Understandable. Its deer season. I'll feel more better if I get to kill something with a gun. |

Hey RT that's a tasty looking deer you have there. Those are good sliced like bread and fried in an iron skillet. Cool paint job on the shotgun too. Is that factory? |

That's a good snake. I think I'd be wearing boots. |

I'm sitting here, looking out the window, hunting Blacktail deer. Wish a big 'un would wander into the yard. I set out some apples for bait. Armchair hunting. I might get 'hardcore' and drive around the roads and try to shoot one from the rig. |

Jb2: Custom all the way, baby...did it my own self in the garage with an airbrush! there's more here Snail, you're my kinda hunter. I just can't seem to get mad at anything much bigger than a whitewing dove. As far as I'm concerned, meat comes wrapped in cellophane, not fur... rt |

Bambi tastes good. No toothpick needed. Shoot 'em and eat 'em. Yum. |

Wife sez, after overhearing the "Survivorman" guy on the boob tube mention eating Elk: Eeewwwww. Me: Elk is tasty. Wife: I'd never eat it. Me: You have. Wife: Nuh-uh! Me: Remember the burgers Snail was making out on the Salt?
