i have a ss super g carb and when i shut the bike off fuel drips out the intake. what is the problem and how do i fix it?

Nobody has replied to this yet? Sorry. Maybe this thread will give you some ideas since I'm not familiar with working on the Super G carb.

Not familiar with that carb. But the float assembly and seat should stop the flow of fuel into the carb when the bowl is full. Check to make sure that it is clear of trash and not worn/damaged. Also you should shut the petcock off before you stop the bike at end of rides.

I would contact S&S for a carb rebuild kit right now. It is most likely a bad needle/seat but it could could be the float or a gasket. I live in WI. and know a few that work at S&S, but contact them they are very good at helping you. The Super G is a great carb. If any carb is working properly you should never have to shut off the gas petcock. But if you know it leaks you should shut it off for safety sake till you do fix it. I hope this helps.
