I checked the HD site and ran my vin which stated I did not have any recalls. I believe its the BAS that should be relocated at the tail section which it has not. Today we came home from a ride and there's a bolt missing from the kick stand. How do I find out for sure that there aren't any recalls on a the '06 Uly? |

Fast eddie, If the bolt came out then you need to get the new side stand. The new sidestand does not have a pivot bolt. It has a pin with a retainer clip. |

Fast eddie, AFAIK, there's no way to check on-line to see if the recalls have been performed on your bike. Any Buell dealer can run your VIN and tell you the status of any outstanding recalls . You can either go to your local dealer or call one of Badweb's sponsor dealers and get them to do it. |

Hughlysses, I forget where I went on the HD site but there was a place to enter your VIN to check on recalls. I'll go to the dealer today to get a bolt and schedule the recall work. Thanks for the info. |

Called the dealer and they stated both recalls were done. So check your side stand bolts, mine went AWOL. |

If you are referring to the 2 bolts that hold the stand to the engine case mine both came loose. AFTER the side stand recall was performed. Dealers must be prone to NOT using thread lock. |
