Look at that exhaust outlet. Geez, that looks like it belongs on the Marine Turbine Technology helicopter-engined bike. |

I like the fact they kept the ZTL even though they went with the single sided fork, the single sided swingarm, and OH YEAH! I'd like to take it for a spin! There is a CF knee guard to keep your leg out of the belt. I do wonder where the oil is being kept, and if it might need a bit bigger oil cooler. Then again the blower may be all show with little to no overdrive to it. The fairing is interesting too. Minimalist, but sleek. |

The front fairing looks like it would be perfect for the 1125S |

Go to the website and check out the 3 and 4 wheeled things!! That would be pretty sweet to do to a Firebolt! |

The bike LOOKS awesome, but that pulley system is ridiculous, and is just begging for an accident. ~SM |

now why couldent they have put the super charger on the underside of the frame where the right side air scoop is? then the boost supply could be run through the frame hole. very cool i wonder if they are selling the primary with the outer pully set up? so people could try diferent mount locations for the charger. |

The belt looks to be right in the way of where your left leg would tuck.... |

Wouldn't taking out the 'W' bracket assembly be bad for a number of reasons? Like no more lower tie bar? I agree that the belt should have gone through the frame. It would look better, and actually give you your knee room back. That bike looks like all show. Not very practical for riding. And isn't practicality what Buells are all about? |

I think it may have been easier to move the oil cooler and mount the super chrger to that location. then use the blue high pressure hose and run that throught the frame to the throttle body. I think that would work while no compramising already cramped riding position. |

probably a newer Buell, that doesn't have the hole in the frame? |

If you look at the head-on pic it would appear that the air pass-through is there Glitch. |

Yeah, locating the ouput seal concentric with the crank could be a little tricky, but not impossible. Having someone make up the output shaft shouldn't be too hard either. The machine work would cost much less than the supercharger. A small belt driven centrifugal supercharger would be able to supply more than enough air for any reasonable use, and surprise the hell out of the local squids without any turbo lag causing your rear end to break loose mid corner when you start rolling the throttle on smoothly and it hits the "magic" rpms. I've always had a bias towards superchargers over turbochargers for that reason. That and the lack of all that messy exhaust plumbing and heat. |

pity about the rear-sets though. It looks to me like very litt;e thought was put into them aside from moving the riders knees back away from the belt drive. |

Rotrex makes a super small high efficiency supercharger unit called the C15-60. They see alot of action up north on snow mobiles. http://www.rotrex.com I have one of these on my 88 inch twin cam softail. It's good for 10 pounds of boost and makes a 700 pound bike accelerate like a 300 pounder. The actual supercharger is quite small, it is the step up drives that takes up the space. It needs to spin at 150,000 rpms for full boost. I would kill to have one of these on my Uly. A power shift at full boost will send the softail sideways. I don't think I would be able to keep the front end down on the Buell tho. (Message edited by treadmarks on October 03, 2007) |

It is strange that the belt tensioner for the blower is mounted to the frame... What happens when the motor moves? |

the clear acrylic guard over the top of the belt should do a lot to do away with fear of the belt grabbing elbows. |

does the belt need to be that wide? or could a smaller belt be used? that may make it easier to get around the belt while riding and mabye make it so your leg could rest on the outside of the guard instead of behind it. just thinking out loud. |

Sub65chris - I agree, very cool looking bike. Love the wheels. Diablobrian - I was more worried about my hair getting caught in there! |
