Well, I ordered a pair and got them today. Quality seems excellent. For those of you that dont know, Im still recovering from a 30 mph "dismount". I had boots, gloves, jacket with armor and helmet. Everything did its job and the boost probably kept me from breaking my ankle. What I didnt have was any type of lower body protection, i.e. protective pants. Got road rash pretty bad along with alot of brusing. I think these Bohn Armor Adventure Pants would have saved my skin. |

How do they fit under pants? Would pants have to be fitted to consider the armor? What kind of pants do you plan to wear over them...jeans? Does it seems like they would be hot? I am guessing they would restrict ventilation a bit. I am very interested in your comments. |

They fit great under normal jeans, I them on under both my Lee and Levis jeans and they are hardly noticeable, at least in my opinion. "Scrapin" post says they are lightweight and comfortable and I agree. As far as will they be hot, I dont know, but the also have mesh in the crotch area and Bohn Armor also sells a complete "mesh" type pair. I bought the regular type and it gets well into the 90s here in Wisconsin, so time will tell if I chose the correct style. |

65460 Thanks for the report. Please post a followup report after a few uses maybe in the heat etc. This is an interesting option. |

In another thread he mentioned that he (65460) was just now getting his bike back after 2 months in the shop so I don't know if he's been able to do much testing in the interim. |

Sorry guys, Diablo is correct, I just got the bike back on 9/22....and it went back on 9/24 with a BIG oil leak Anyway, about all I can tell you is they seem like good quality, I wore them riding in the car going to get the bike and they were comfortable. Not bad at all to walk around in and felt great when I was riding the bike home, which is about a 40 minute ride. Temps were only in the low 70s so I cant tell you how they are when it gets hot but they do have a mesh in the crotch, the pants themselves are kind of like spandex. They also sell a complete mesh type for very hot weather, but t sure looks fragile. But looks can be deceiving. |

I wore them all day yesterday for over 400-miles and they were comfortable. The knee armor is a bit noticeable when walking around and the tailbone armor can slide down, so I just adjusted at bathroom breaks. I thought overall they were very comfortable and the quality is excellent. --Sean |
