Need some help. I am pulling the motor from my x1 today but lost my manual. anyone have a writeup online? or a service manual I can download? anything? I also need all the torque specs for the motor. THANKS |

It's not as much taking the engine out of the bike as it is taking the bike off of the engine It's like the bike is a hat that the engine wears. |

i have a engine hoist and i have the rear end off, i just cannot seem to figure out how to remove the oil lines from the tank. should i just cut them and replace them? or just cut the straps holding them? any advice? THANKS |

Oil lines? Oh,cut the factory band clamps.I know,no screw to loosen.I like these clamps and bought the special pliers to squeeze and secure them.They're "one time" use though.Use a pair of snips and cut at the loop.If you'll have the bike off of the engine why not just replace ALL of the lines anyway? I did,cheap too. |

Al at American Sport Bike can hook you up with those delicious looking stainless steel braided oil lines. YUM Even have those hidden type of clamps to give it a racy look. |
