I waited at a Best Buy on the 24th for Halo3. Great game. Matter of fact, I rode my bike and stood in line with kids who actually, rode a bike. |

One of the great things about being 6'7" and 260 in my bike gear is callously elbowing the 8 year olds off the play station and x box demo units. |

It seems that all at once, I have found too many things to do, and not enough time to do them. Halo 3, work, install new handle bars, and 4 new DVDs: Ghost Rider 3 & 4, Isle of Man TT 2006, and Rammstein's Volkerball. It's gonna be a busy weekend, with all that and a dumb ATV safety course Sat. that Polaris is giving me $100 (in Polaris credit) to do. |

Sounds good. I've got an easy one. Cruise out to a Custom Bike show to take some pics in the morning. Sunday the HOGS are doing a basic skills and handling course at the air force base and I'm going to photograph that too. We get a disused tarmac on the base to run training. http://www.rrrs.org.nz There is a demonstration component to the training. And as I'm vice president - I reckon a few stunts could be in order. I mean, A tarmac and an audience on tankers. Mr Ego won't be able to help himself.

And on top of that! I just bought my Ulysses yesterday so not only do I not have a life, I also won't be getting any sleep! That bike gives a whole new feel to night riding. |

The only way they'd be able to play that game and have a relationship is if the both of 'em played the game together My gf can't stand it. Which is why I try to keep it on the weekends... What can I say, I'm a sucker for good games... (Message edited by buellerandy on September 28, 2007) |

I'm sure theres a lot more game fanatics out there besides those that have posted...that would be awesome to just get everyone rallied on some indicated weekend to mess with each other as long as we could all agree on which game lol. |

I've got pretty well all of the top shelf games released over the last 15 years... Pick your poison. Favorites are... The Total War series (Shogun, Rome, Medieval I and II...). Total Annihilation and Supreme Commander. Never owned Star Craft... Hated it... too simple. GTR, GTL and Grand Prix Legends (Yes, I have a red Momo Force wheel...) Falcon 4, EF-2000 (Yes, I have a Thrust Master F-16 FLCS... The old Serial version ) World of Warcraft. Bioshock is quite good (especially at 1920x1200 with all the eye candy on ;)) and his two previous "game of the year" titles System Shock 1 and 2 were also very good. I loved Diablo and I'm waiting with baited breath for Hellgate London. I'm not much of a Star Wars fan but if you haven't played through the single player campaign of "Star Wars - Republic Commando" you NEED to. It's excellent. Rainbow Six "Vegas" was one of the best games of all time IMO. Company of Heroes is another brilliant RTS. Right up there with Supreme Commander. Favorite games of all time... Decent II, GTR/GTL, Oblivion, Supreme Commander, R6 Vegas, Falcon 4 (with the realism patches), WoW, Battlefield 2142, MechWarrior (all of them). In that order for the most part. I'm sure I've forgotten a few of my favorites... I've been a gamer for a LONG time. I have a stack of CD's w/o jewel cases that's about 2' tall. I have just about everything. I know... I'm pathetic . I don't care for consoles much (although the Wii is pretty cool... I was quite surprised). I played Forza 2 quite a bit and have finished all of the Gran-Tourismo games. Doom 3 was pretty decent but mostly for the jump it took in graphics and now they all look as good or better. F.E.A.R. will scare the CRAP out of you if you're playing on a 24" wide screen LCD with head phones in a dark room... I played it for about an hour and had to stop. I've never been a fan of paranormal horror. That one was too much. On the subject of gaming itself... I think it's a LOT better for you than TV in most ways. Hand eye coordination goes through the roof. Keeps reflexes sharp. Keeps your mind working. I guess it can be compared to riding a motorcycle vs. driving a car. You can fall asleep watching tv or driving a car. Not so with gaming or riding motorcycles. I don't even own a TV. I do own both a truck and a car but I rarely drive either of them. One more data point... I make a living in four to ten hours a week as a direct result of my passion for games and the passion they gave me for computers in general. |
