Sadly my XB has to go. I know its the wrong time of year, but try telling the Air Force that. I got orders for a Remote assignment overseas and the bike cant go with me. Rather than store it for more than a year, I thought I would try and hook a fellow Badweber up with a great bike and a great deal. Details: 2003 XB9R - Clear Title, never been down or dropped 14,250 Miles Race ECM K&N Filter Jardine Exhaust - repacked at 10K ZG Double Bubble windscreen Traction grips Frame pucks Firebolt Custom seat Dark Horse Moto race ready swingarm sliders w/ T-rex stands both front and back Chain drive conversion Tires are pirelli strada and the rear is about 75% worn, the front is good for quite a bit longer. I re-built the forks at 11k miles. I have owned the bike since 2K miles and have changed the oil/primary religously every 2,500 miles. The Majority of the mileage was obtained on 5 trips from Minot AFB north Dakota to Hill AFB Utah. We all know the XB is magic in the mountains and this one knows the Beartooth pass and Yellowstone national park very well. The chain conversion has only 2k miles. I have 2 spare belts, a rear sprocket and a front sprocket if going back to the belt is desired. The color was originally white but I painted it charcoal metallic black last winter. When the bike is clean the paint looks great. However, I did scratch both sides of the tail section while riding with my saddle bags in place on long trips. I'll get better pics of the scuffs tomorrow. The paint scuffs are the only blemish on the whole damn thing! Runs very strong, a little on the loud side with the Jardine, but I will also include the OEM muffler mounting hardware (no Muffler)if you plan on ever replacing the OEM muffler. I've maintained this bike very well with the hope and plan that I would keep it for a very long time, but thats not going to work out with me going overseas. I'll work with any potential buyers on delivery, I'll even deliver up to 500 Miles from Minot for the price of gas on the trip. I'll answer any questions as soon as I get them. Somebody take this off my hands! More pics to follow.

Update. Also Included: Both T-rex stands OEM ECM OEM Seat K&N Oil Filter & Amsoil 20w50 (Been used in the bike since 2k miles) I'll even throw in the cortech saddle bags pictured above. In the final picture you can see where the paint has chipped off a bit from so many rides with the saddle bags in place. |
