So I was extremely bored... and surfing the Buell site, and found this odd bit of information. The Firebolt charging system puts out quite a bit more power than that of any other Buell. Including the Uly! I would've thought the Uly should have the most, since it is common to have heated grips, aux. lights, and other add ons. Could the projector lights need more power? Firebolt: 38-amp, permanent magnet, single-phase alternator with solid-state regulator (481W @3000 rpm, 494W peak) Lightnings and Uly: 30-amp, permanent magnet, single-phase alternator with solid-state regulator (405W @3000 rpm, 405W peak) |

That is odd, is it a typo? I'm sure that the 2 models share the same parts. |

They do share the same parts engine wise to my understanding. Well, with the exception on the XB9 XB12 differences. |

The XB9s shows the same 30 amp output as all the other XB's other than the firebolt. |

Then I'm sure it's a typo. |

You sure you got the right Firebolt? I know with the Uly, the 06/07's have the 38 amp system while the 08 has the 30. |

Yup, all 08's. Must just be a typo. |
