Hey, check the Buell web-site, for the Streets of Willow, at Willow Springs raceplace, in Rosamond, CA on Oct. 17th. Test rides of new Buell models, and also track time on your own bike. http://www.buell.com/en_us/news_events/EventsListi ng.asp?locale=en_US&bmLocale=en_US&post=1&hdresult s=0&dealer=0&ohouse=0 |

Hoooo boy have you come to the RIGHT PLACE (on the LEFT Coast) Check the Glendale thread in the Sponsor Section. Stay in touch on all of the CA events. Check Storm Fronts for other events. There's a MONSTER annual event up at Buellton the last weekend of the month - details are at American Sport Bike website and elsewhere here. Glendale Buell is organizing a regular last-weekend-of-each-month ride - except this month is the ride to Buellton. Where are you located (profile says Las Vegas) We run the tracks at Las Vegas and Pahrump a couple times a year - racing or track days |

As soon as the big one hits, Phoenix will be coastal. I hear there will be good surf in Buckeye. (Message edited by BCordb3 on September 19, 2007) |

La Canada here. Pronounced "Canyada" 'cause there's 'sposed to be one of those little Spanish field days over the n, but I can't find it on my keyboard. It's near Pasadena, which doesn't require the little whatsitz over the n. Not to be confused with Bake's Canada. Eventually, everything east of the San Andreas will be under the Atlantic Ocean. AL |

Sorry - RE Events: This Saturday is the El Camino Classic bike show & swap meet. It's at the El Camino College in Gardena. If any of you like classic and antique bikes - it's usually a really good event. If you go - the best way in is to go about a block west of Crenshaw on Manhattan Beach Blvd. and you'll see the signs. Go early, then zip off to Glendale H-D/Buell for the BBQ. Showers are in the forecast for Sat. so any of you with any pull upstairs might want to make a call or two and see if that can get that changed to "sunny & mid 70's. If you look close at the show - you may run across my RS with it's "for sale or trade" sign! Bring lots of $, or maybe a decent FXR! AL |

"we are the left hand step children out here in the PNW. Thinking we will have to start growing OKRA to make the company radar ;)" Please don't tell them about the seriously perfect-for-Buells roads we have. We need to keep them secret. Events? A few friends and a general direction usually leads to an adventure of the highest order. |

I'll be in Vegas for SEMA also, but at the end of the week on Nov. 1st - 3rd. I'm debating on hauling the Firebolt on over to ride around on this time. American Sport Bike BBQ next weekend in Buellton - be there! |

Yeah, I'd bring my bike but I can never find the time to ride at SEMA too busy with dinners, meeting busy, etc. I wouldn't mind meeting up with you guys, though. --Sean |

Mr Hyde, If you're in Hesperia, we ought to see if we can do a ride here in the local hills sometime. Also, David Finnerty is now GM of Victorville HD - and watch them - with David running things, I'm betting they'll have Buells before long! |

"...we are the left hand step children out here in the PNW. Thinking we will have to start growing OKRA to make the company radar ;)" If this is the case we here in NCW must be the left-handed, redheaded step children with a limp. Some think we barely have "'lektristy" here. But man do we have some great roads close by. I love to ride in Canada. They have a sport bike meet in Oliver, BC late in July & hear it's a good time. BTW, some of us do grow Okra out here. Just so you know. |
