I am trying to gauge interest in this event so we can estimate what type of place we'll need to feed everyone after the run. We are not providing food, but scouting places that won't have any logistical problems as we all thunder up at the end of the day demanding vittles. As the ride stands right now we are looking at a 150-180 mile route that winds through some great roads in the Hudson Valley, both east and west of the Hudson River. We will provide coffee and donuts in the morning as well as route sheets. The meeting time will likely be at 0900 and we will shove off promptly at 1000. This is going to be a great run. So chime in here and let us know what to expect. There will be more posts to follow WRT lodging and such. |

Hammer, it wouldn't be the same without you. Who's got that picture of Hammer with the donut? XL1200R The route will most likely consist of a 100-125 mile loop through Orange County Ulster and then a 60 mile loop through Putnam County. As always it will begin at the top of Perkins Memorial Drive at Bear Mountain It really is a good time. www.horsemanrun.us |

I didn't ride that far, I was able to have a sleepover at a couple of houses and got rides too and from the Aero Puerto from a f*r*i*e*n*d as well as this place
and quite a bit more of New Yawk |

This year's is going to be one seriously badass run. I've gone over the routes with our planners, and they absolutely kick ass. had a cursory meeting last night, all is going smoothly, with MUCH thoughtful planning. One of our planners was dry-running the West Bank route, today, Z-Girl and I caught up with him entirely by accident, on a hill climb whose pitch is going to keep things interesting. I've received confirmation that Gomo will be in attendance, this year, his safety points will be much appreciated. My bestest friend from the age of 4 is planning on riding his M2 up from SW North Carolina; to him NC-NY is typical weekend mileage. The shirt pre-order and design is together, '07's design is sure to please, just peek at the entry graphics on the website (www.horsemanrun.us) for a peek. All is just about tied-off, this week is shop-contact week for shirt sponsors. Looks to be around 28 days left. I welcome all interested in a really festive, sporty and fun season's end run to attend. You will NOT be disappointed. Doon, are you expecting something bad to happen? Cause if you know something we don't, now might be a good time to share. |

jlb: I not expecting anything bad to happen. I meant in relationship to either $work or in me keeping sposual approval to attend. My daughter just hit 2 months old. So going and and riding the motorcycle for long periods of time is a rarity for me. |
