Hoon you really need to put the templates online because it really looks good . I would not mind doing that, it gives the bike a really mean look from the front |

Is that a right side scoop? Lots of interesting changes. Quite personalized. More pictures would be good. Those bags are interesting. Looks like a very happy Uly! |

Sport bike class at Fairchild AFB in August.
Yeah, I know I'm missing the front fairing. An eclipse tried to mix it up with me in a turn... bad joo-joo. |

Quick up-date: I've taken lots of pics of the templates and I'll post them as soon as time allows (this week hopefully) with a write-up/description. I'm organising/preparing a grand 10th anniversary camping weekend for my bike club this weekend (Eana Mcc) so it's all a bit hectic at the mo. Beer,BBQ and silly games with campfires in Epping Forest,Northeast of London. I'll post a couple of pics from this too but unfortunately there won't be any Buell action due to the amount of equipment we need to take. |

I'm into rat bikes and when I first got the Uly there was too much shiny stuff showing so I covered the non-black bits the best way I could without making her completely unsaleable just in case I had to flog her. Now I'm in love with her and know I'm not going to sell her (she'll never be worth as much to somebody else even if I cleaned her up now-she's too far down the road to Ratdom) I don't mind spraying bits matt black and think the non-slip rubber matting on the forks is different/I can't be arsed to strip it off and paint them. 'Stockings' I like that,Ulyrat wearing rubber fishnet stockings, very apt. (I've never started a thread before, could someone advise me if I should post the pics of templates, etc in B,B & D please. Thanks) (Message edited by hoon on September 12, 2007) |

Nice Saturday ride a couple weeks ago. Another of my bike and Scott_in_nh's bike. Large picture, so here's the link: http://i198.photobucket.com/albums/aa66/cgocifer/1 00_2383.jpg |

That is by far the nicest Sportster ever produced. Heck, it may be my favorite HD ever produced. Did you catch flack about it being a Sportster or...? Just curious because of all the old Girl Bike comments that used to float around the Sportsters. |

Cgocifer- I agree. The nicest Sportster produced - perhaps the coolest H-D assembly-line ride ever. It is closest to what I would make mine look like. LOVE the black laced wheels with shiny spokes and the break-away license plate mount off of the rear axle. SWEET. |

Bikertrash05- I should say (or should have said) GREAT decision to have gone for the XB12S!!!! MUCH MORE FUN!!!! WELCOME TO THE 2% of the bikertrash BWB. |

I never got any real flack (just the kidding stuff), bagger boys actually said that the Nightster would be a perfect 2nd bike. Kedo, thanks, and you are definitely correct! The 12S feels like my 9SX, but more "lumpy" and torquey. Plus the seat height is more comfortable. )BTW, the new "low"seat is much better then the old low seat. ) 2% of the BWB is bikertrash? Sweeet. |
