Hey Peeps, would like to know your opinions on my new airbox cover. Any color suggestions are also welcome as i am still undecided, Thinking of blue with 2 white pinstripes. Will have the front fly screen sprayed to match.

Don't like it. Sorry but you did ask. Having said that I think if you did something paint-wise with the ridge that sort of emulates the siderail of the subframe it could change my mind a bit. |

Sorry Terminator, I agree with Hishers. Not bad, just not Buell. Paint might change my mind though. Again, sorry for the negative feedback. But, you did ask. |

I kinda dig it, I am not sure about color, but some black mesh screen over the small opening in the back would look kinda cool, Also is that a white pin stripe on the rear rim? or is it some sort of greenish yellow, hard to tell. I would do the same to front, and then maybe use that same color to pin strip the cover What does it look like from the top? |

Its from Frank-parts in Germany. I think. Here is a link to trojan's site. I like it, because it lets hot air out through the rear. Plus, it looks unique. http://www.britnett-carver.co.uk/trojanhorse/prods /295.html |

Interesting idea... pointy plastic to the gut. Obviously designed by skinny people. ~SM |

Thanks for the comments, no probs with the negative ones.I did ask !! I do actually go for the individual look so i didnt expect too many people to like it, thats why i bought a Buell in the first place. Heres a closer pic. It does actually come with mesh ready to fix to the slots at the rear. The pinstripes on the rear rims are reflective yellow. Ive taken the front one off at the moment coz it had some stone chips on it. Thanx for lookin.

OOOOOOO,now that really changes things a bit. With the 1st 2 pics it was kind,... aaaaauh! But with Glitches post, I kinda like it. I'd definatley paint using 2 different shades, using those sharp lines as my border. Most AutoParts places have the Carbon Fiber "look" tape. Where the Buell letters are at above, I'd put the taoe in there. |

It's not really my thing, but I do think it looks like a well designed part, not like the cheap aftermarket stuff I've seen so much of. There are plenty of design cues in the design of the cover to give ideas for paint designs. I think a pair of "skunk stripes" would look good, but that could just be me. |
