Its not that I don't want an 1125R, because I'd sell my soul if it were accepted. But being a student with a budget and my XB has been so much fun I don't want to let go of it yet. Ok the brakes from the 1125R are an available XB upgrade. What else from the new steed can be addorned to the XB? I really like the new fairing(hint-hint!) |

Ferris - I put money that the now fairing would bolt right up with little fuss. I say that because the fairing stay on the 1125 looks to be the same shape as my Firebolt. With that, I'm sure the mirrors will bolt on as well. The only thing you'd have to think through with both of these would be wiring. |

The XB cluster might be a little odd inside the r's fairing. Wiring up the many headlight would take a little time. The size of the fairing (large) might look a little goofy on a (small) XB. But that's questionable, as I've yet to see it in person. |

I was thinking of putting the Firebolt front fairing on me Lightning but I am holding out until I see the R, I think I like it a little better. I am also hoping that the conversion wouldn't be too painful. Winter project maybe???? |

The fairing stay *WILL* bolt up to the XB frames. I'll be adding an 11256 Fairing assembly to my 'Ulybolt' in the near future. |
