They made a "twin tail" option for the S1. It included a longer tailsection, 2 person seat and a subframe extension. Not a super rare piece but worth a few bucks. There was a seat in the classifieds not too long ago. They also show up on ebay every few months. |

no worries mate, I've got a "single" tailpiece and was wondering if all the single seats are the same to fit it. |

yup, i am 99.9% sure that as long as it is an s1 single tail, an s1 single seat will fit, regardless of year. |

although, i have read a few posters say that they had problems with their corbin s1 seats fitting properly, I have both the stock and the corbin and both fit the same. |

There are 2 solo seats though- the standard, which has a pronounced 'cup' for the rider, and the Euro, which is flatter all the way back and great for tall guys like me. They fit the bike the same way, but fit the rider different. I haven't had a chance to try a Corbin on my S1 yet, the Euro works well enough for me so far. And, I do have a twintail set (seat, bracket, and tail) brand new in a box for an Ice White Pearl White Lightning if anyone's interested. I'll never use it, but it came with my bike when I bought it. Email me if you're interested or would like to see pics. Sorry for the hijack ;) |
