Is it in gear? Check your fuses? |

Not in gear, fuses good, 12.72 volts, terminals tight and clean, no dimming or anything when pushing button. |

My bike will start in any gear position w/o the clutch pulled in. Gear shouldn't, and hasn't made a difference. Anymore ideas? |

Intermittent short in ignition switch or starter button or wiring to or from them? I've had to replace one (ignition switch) on my Sportster, and one on my Moto Guzzi V50III. Just dead, with no sound. Hex |

It's going to happen again, the yellow starter switch on the handle bar contol is dirty.Slip the control housing ,you can service all the switch part. sand off the brass contacts, wire eyelet, mount screw and spring. coat parts with alittle lithium grease. |

Bank Angle Sensor recall done? The dealer said it was, but I can't see it where it should be in the tail. I need to verify. |

Yes, on the way to deals gap . 250miles in, on a 550mile day. If you ride in the rain more often or wash your bike a lot. all the bar controls will become intermittent. They are not high quality control .Which is good because the start switch is a simple spring contact switch. I spray wd-40 in and around my control after washes. |

If it starts in gear without the clutch pulled in you may want to check the clutch switch. Mine refuses to start with the bars turned to the left. Currently at the dealer. They replaced the clutch switch because it was not functioning, but the starting problem still exists. I'm thinking wiring harness on mine. Cheers Brett |
