Got it with a pile of S1 parts, but the plug doesn't match the wiring harness. Could it be off an 883 Sportster? Would it work with a more-or-less stock S2 motor (T-storm top end, S1 cams, race pipe)? Thanks! rt |

Raod_Thing, The module is indeed off an 883. I will have to check with Terry Galagan on Monday as to your application on the M2. BudC Hal's |

That was strange, somehow the .com got dropped off of the middle of the address string. http://www.xlforum.com/vbportal/forums/archive/ind ex.php/t-31929.html There was a connector change I remember reading about, something about a 7-wire vs 8-wire. I think it happened just before or during or just after the S2 era. The "883" application might be comparable to the feeding needs of the stock S2 engines with their 9-ton flywheels. But wait for Bud to get back with the info from Terry on Monday or so to verify it's suitability to your needs. |
