Recently, I can pull the choke cable out when I start in the driveway and the choke cable will fully seat itself before I get 100 yards down the road. Isn't this a simple adjustment issue? Thanks, Chad. |

On mine where the steel rod with the knob on one end and then enters the cable, there is a plastic cap when screwed tighter puts tension on the rod. |

If you've tightened the thumbwheel and it still slips, try this: 1)Loosen the thumbwheel up until it's loose and ready to fall off 2)Tighten the nut on the backside of the bracket (11/16, I believe) a couple turns 3)Retighten the thumbwheel. Presto-problem fixed. |

That housing is plastic and will crack with not a lot of tension,soooo be careful. Charlie |
