What year is your bike? I have a set of XBR triple trees. I'll sell them for $150 place shipping from 53227. Jason (Message edited by v8killr on September 06, 2007) |

Want triple trees and forks. If you have the wheels and brakes I would gladly take those too. Trying to converge my sporty with buell performance, the inverted forks and brakes are a good start. |

What type of bars will you be running? Are you looking for the Firebolt or Lightning style? I've posted above that I've got the Firebolt, however, if you're looking for Lightning, your going to want to add that so people can hook you up. Jason |

Not super familiar with Firebolt vs Lightning. I have a set of drag bars that currently that I would like to use. Are both models clip on only? If one set allows me to use my bars then I would go with that style of triple trees. Sorry for lack of knowledge, just beginning to get into the Buell lifestyle. |

I've of course never done this conversion. However, I think it is going to be unlikely that either the Firebolt or Lightning triple tree is going to work with your sporty bars. If there is a chance, the Lightning triple is more likely as the Firebolt will for sure not work with you bars. The Firebolt has similar to clip-on style bars. Jason |

Liebermann, 98s1Lightning front end is not XB. The bikes pre XB are referred to as tubers, as their frame does not hold fuel like the XBs and is therefore, a tube frame. It is still a good setup over what you have on your sporty, just not an XB. Jason |

thanks for the info Jason. Main reason I am looking for XB is due to the perimeter brake on the wheel. It is sweet. |
