what is needed to "do" TPS reset at home ? (equipment/software etc.) what does the stuff cost ? is it hard to do ? |

Call Al at American Sport Bike for the software. Cost is around $200. System works very good. Of course you will need a computer/laptop to set the TPS. Good idea to purchase if you are keeping the bike (saves trips to the dealer). |

You'll also need a Keyspan USB to serial port converter if your laptop doesn't have a serial port (most don't these days)- $33 at Amazon. I tried a Belkin port converter I had on hand, it didn't work with the VDSTS software; the Keyspan works fine. Good luck, Bill |

Yes ! I posted a picture of my usb wire in this thread. http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/384 2/304148.html?1188821980 All that you need is a pc, usb wire with a deutsch connector on it and the virtual serial usb drivers and program in the PC It works GREAT ! |
