and what exactly am i entitled too... never done this before.... well..cager making a left turn across YOUR lane.Seems pretty cut&dry to me. Be sure they pay for a new bike.Wreck your leathers/helmet? Demand replacements for them too.The law is on your side.Unless you left out incriminating evidence. Were you cited for DUI? |

no dui and state cop said from the tire marks left from my bike that i wasn't speeding at all... i was only doing about 35 and my helmet never hit the ground, was told by same state cop to claim it was wrecked... vanson/held are great companies... as soon as i identified myself as a Fire Fighter the cops were all over him.... |

How'd his car look? Please say you messed it up pretty good! Good job laying it down. I often wonder how I would handle it if I found myself in that exact same circumstance. Only other option is to go straight into him and over the bars; sure, your body gets wrecked, but you'll mess up his car pretty good. So is there an 1125R in your future? Dibs on your ECM! You can upload them right from your harddrive. You don't have to use a service to upload them. Just make sure that the pictures are under 71kb and are the right size. Just press the "Upload Attachment" button at the bottom and select your picture when the window pops up. |

"Purty," JP, is a vast understatement. Those wheels are the finest display of motorcycling porn I have ever seen. Angelina Jolie could be standing next to them, buck nekkid, and I wouldn't even notice her. I'm surprised the censoring software on the network here at work didn't block that picture. I want. |

Sunday looks good, provided I can get my new rear shoe mounted tonight (are you out there, Eric?). I'm dropping the wife off at TF Green for her 6am (!) flight Sunday morning, so I'll be looking for something to take my mind off of things. And I got some new perf leather pants that need a good breakin' in. |

Italian MotorcycleOwners Club of America show is Sunday??!!...Thanks for the reminder Fritz.. As you may know,i embarked on a high performance project on my (was fine anyway) 996. It's turned out to be a mad science project with adjusting compression ratio and also "Making" the pistons fit my combustion chamber.I've got a Burrette compression ratio testing kit on the way.God...i miss that bike, and will be reminded how much this Sunday.I was having fun with the smilies. We look forward to seeing the Hudson Valley boys in our neck of the woods Sunday |

I'm just up for wrapping some new rubber, and maybe getting my old junk tire thrown onto Eric's beast for a little stinky-smoky funeral. Damn thing only had about 1000 miles on it... Otherwise, it's dinner out with the in-laws tonight. And I spent yesterday afternoon with my wife shopping new bikes for her. We looked at the CityX (too tall) down at Precision and the Duc Monster 695 (just right) at Dunbar. She really likes the Monster. I drooled all over the 1098 and the Hypermotard, and the modern classics. Love those cafes!! Oh, and the Beemer 1200 Adventure. OK, everything at Dunbar was uber-hot. And then we hit Brockton Cycles where they've got full armored leather pants (touring--no pucks), perf or not, on sale at $150 down from $230. I couldn't resist. |

Just talked to Eric since his commie bosses don't afford him usage of the internet. He's got other designs for tonight, but I'll probably be helping myself to his shed. Gotta get this tire on! The Uly looks so sad sitting on it's flat in the garage. Edit: Thanks again, Eric. I drug my wife along and put her to work as well. I left my tool usage fee in yer fridge. Glad it all worked for ya. I came home to see if you needed a hand, Will be off to the car show at bagma's with the boys shortly. They like the ice cream/cars there. Then I will be home the rest of the night, tinkering with the bike as usual.... Need to put on a Good burner for the Hudson Valley Boys.... |
