I have a works aftermarket shock on my bike that i installed. I used the provided 2 hose clamps and rubber brackets to mount the nitrogen cylinder to the frame. I recently seen a modded honda 4 wheeler and it had an aftermarket suspension and the nitrogen "cylinders" were held onto the frame in a different manner it used billet brackets, The brackets had like a 2 inch hole that the "tank" clamped into and like a one inch hole that clamped around the frame that whole clamp looked sort of like and 8. It looked very clean i want to know where these can be found. I have no pics but hope that you can use your imagination to understand what i am talking about.thanks ahead of time. |

You need to find out if this is an aftermarket product or a one off part built by a machinist. If you can't find the guy who owned the 4 wheeler I suggest you go talk to the Honda parts geek and see if he knows anything about it. One of the problems we have on the Tubey Buells is that although this is a good idea there are no tube frame parts in the immediate vicinity of the shock. I reckon you could run a longer hose. |

The Works shock mounts on the frame, left side... nice long hose... if I am thinking of the same shock... Now, that would be a fairly easy part make, nice piece of billet stock.. and you are home free.. Chase |

Cyclonemduece - I'll measure the Penske reservoir tomorrow and let you know how big it is. |
