Off of my '05 City-X. Muffler is in good condition and has a nice shine to it. It has an approximately 1-inch round ding in the bottom and has the usual scuffs from the clamps.

Once I removed it, I noticed that it also has a slight dent where the rear mount is. I never noticed it on the bike but I guess I overtightened the clamp. I tried to show everything in the pics.

The difference is comedic. The 12 pipe is polished, while the 9 pipe isn't. Internally they are identical
