Is there any way to tighten up the mirror swivels so that they will stay adjusted? |

Black RTV Silicone under the boot around the joint after you get them adjusted to suite you. That is the only fix I have found! |

My fix is red or blue loctite - it comes out liquid, so it "soaks in" a bit more than the RTV does. Think super glue but without the permanent positioning |

I replaced my stock mirrors with Yamaha Snowmobile mirrors, they work great and you can't tell the difference from stock S2 mirrors. Do a search in the Knowledge Vault (tech, parts, apparel, & Accessories topics) type in snowmobile mirror and you will find the part numbers, and pictures. |

Take a small punch and put a bunch of dimples in the swivel area--knurl it--worked for me. |

Or find FAR Moto Accessori in Bologna Italy (spare me . . .you can't source them in the USA) and order a pair of Model 609's.
You guys gotta stop . . . everytime I go look for something to answer a post, I find something else. . . just uncovered 1998 RACE OF CHAMPIONS t-shirts a case of the good old Blue keychains and another package of the "still in the wrapper" S-2 1,000th Buell Built" shirts. . . |

I could sure use the ROC shirt to go with my ROC bike and maybe one of those S-2 tees---- |
