My bikes broken. F.F.F. Stupid leftside front head engine mount bolt broke/snaped. It's now in peaces oll over the garage floor. Stupid BIKE! Should I take the head to the shop up the rd? Or f it up myself first with an eazy out,then take it to the pro?

A Dealer? Jest how crazy/nutz you think I am? Independant H.D., not offical H.D. repair shop. You know a real bike mechnic, with his own shop,and tools for fixin these vee's, I've used his services many a time over the years. Everybody round here brings their Harleys there.

I don't know if it's going to happen. Her first stop was ATL, but the entire southeast is jacked up with bad weather, and planes are being diverted to smaller airports. I was reading that at one airport the planes were bumping into each other. So I haven't heard anything from her and since the military bought her the ticket she's probably flying Delta, which means she's probably been sitting in a plane, on the tarmac, for the last 5 hours.

Crap.

But thanks for the interest. I'd love to have you guys there; she'd think it's pretty cool, too, and would probably wind up wanting the CityX; but I have no idea when she's going to be at Warwick.

You know Tripp, I am STILL running the same belt on mine...

Pushrod tube... eh.. hate'em... fought mine for a while, and finally got the NRHS bases..

Danny, With the head, take it to a shop... The bolt is steel, and the head aluminum.
Just bad deal all around...

If you have a good drill press, with a good machinists vice, I think you would be good to go..

MY opinion..

Come on guys.... I am trying to get out early... maybe be home in time for spring or next summer??? I miss those twisty roads..

With a little bit of Love & some patience, you should be able to get that bolt out no problem. Key is patience....

If you have the head off and want me to take a stab at it I am game...just drop it of for a day or so.

Cool ride last night with Nate.A great night for a ride.Nice to stop in and see Jim&Liz.Later Nate&I ended up in Island Park and saw the band "Wicked Peach" and many bikers.I hadn't been out at night in a long,long time.It was fun and i got in shortly after midnight.Thank Nate

Well while out and about in the Thompson area today, following some very Smoooth riders, Much better than eye, (Beating My Beast to Death) I managed to almost Blow the Jardine Muffler apart.

So the bike is basicly down till I get a new muffler or rebuild this one. Either way it will take some time on waiting for the supplies/parts.

My question is anyone gots a 12 muffler kickin' around they want to sell/donate?
