I pulled my pipes off to wrap them to hide the scratches from where I went down and found the backside of the pipes cracked. Not sure if its from the crash or from vibration like most other exhausts. It would be very difficult to repair due to the location of the crack and the fact that its covered in ceramic. So anyway, I ordered a Force Streetfighter Race Pipe. I'm used to and like loud stuff...but what am I in for? Anyone else have the Force pipe? How do you like it? What about the longevity? Quality? Anyone have any sound bites? Thanks, Brad |

I liked the obnoxious note.. but as you've probably seen in my other posts .. not my choice pipe .. I would run a Buell race exhaust before the Force .. makes more power, and IF you use the updated front hanger, they last longer .. although you will have to repack the can occasionally ... The newer Force pipes may last longer .. but I have an older one - that I have had to weld up cracks on near the front mount (which used to be a welded on bracket) and one where the two pipes come together .. the new Force pipe front mounting strap, claims to be high temp rubber , but it melts pretty much immediately .. The last straw on mine was when it cracked in the U directly beneath the air cleaner .... immediately changed to a Buell race exhaust which was sitting in the garage waiting to go on .. Race exhaust makes more power, but is not as loud .. (not even close to as loud) .. no sound clips though .. sorry But - there are others who have had better luck with their Force pipe .. so .. maybe you'll be one of the lucky ones ... |
