I want to get my primary cover ceramic coated, but mine has a few rough areas. I'd like to get one in better condition. I'm really jonesing to get my new baby on the road! If you have one, I'd love to buy it off you ASAP. Thanks for looking! |

I suggest you just have it polished, most good shops can remove minor scars so that you never see them. I love ceramic but it has a purpose other than its looks, it is designed to keep the heat inside of the coating and that MAY give you heat issues in your clutches. I only figured this out after doing it to a turbo of mine. I had the intake side done as well as the exhaust and when I changed out the intake side I saw a drop in intake charge temps, just FYI. |

I know what you mean, but I really like the low maintenance of ceramic. I didn't like my original covers because I constantly had to polish them to get them to look decent. I already had the cam side ceramic coated, so I want the primary side to match. I guess I'll find out the hard way if it's a big mistake. It's been such a pain just getting to this point, I hope I don't have any more issues. |
