Especially if a flash was used, the tiniest bit of floating dust lights up like a Christmas tree.
Record the "phenomenon" with a video camera. You'll either feel really stupid or get really scared. |

Don't feel bad . . . my house was the subject of a one hour ABC special on haunted houses in 1966.
When Vickie was rehabing the house she'd be talking to a contractor. . . "sure, no problem, we'll be there tomorrow, what's the address?"

Mike Lombardi, the local HD dealer who grew up in the area won't set foot in the driveway and remembers all the rumors when he was a kid. We've got the newspaper with the house on the front page.
Good news is . . since I moved in. . . whatever it was has decided to leave.
Hmmmmmm. . . .suppose it's the folks I hang out with?

They were HD folks and saw you moving in with all that Buell stuff. They couldn't take it and had to leave! |

Ick. Court! You're giving me the creeps! I think there's a lot of spiritual activity that takes place in everyday life than most people notice. (or care to) And oddly enough, most people would probably say its 'negative energy'. I'm not so sure. |

Interesting thread, I've done a lot of technical theater and over the years have seen and heard some strange things.
I definitely believe in ghosts, don't really understand the whole orb thing though.
Court, it must be all the good energy you project, it's probably not possible to ride a Buell and have a bad attitude! My bike sure had me grinning today great times outrunning the traffic demons... |

Court do you do exorcisms?
I have an evil spirit that plagues me on the racetrack. Never finish higher than 3rd place.
I can't explain it, therefore it's the spirits that are doing it to me!

We lived in this house for over 2 years and have never detected anything supernatural.
The Orbs were in several rooms but the whole house is being remodeled so the dust is everywhere.
I worked for a large resort in Ojai for a few years. The oldest buildings were 80+ years old and were said to be very haunted. I was the night engineer so I had access to all the haunted rooms and areas. Night after night I looked for anything and never noticed a thing. We did loose a houseman and a security guard due to something they had seen. I wonder what I would have seen with a camera. |

These pics of my S2 bring back some memories. In April of 2005 - when these pictures were taken - it only had a hair over 97,000 miles on it. A fellow C3 badwebber and I were headed down to join a few other Buellers and badwebbers at TWO in Suches, GA. Before I left the house that morning I took a few pictures of my S2 in the driveway:
I didn't notice the unusual effects until I got home from that trip and downloaded the pictures. At first I didn't know what to think, and then it hit me - the water droplets in the misty air were reflecting the flash from the camera.

I've some seen weird stuff...a few isolated incidents through my life. A few of my family members have had some strange and some terrifying experiences in the 100+ y/o house my parents owned. The former owner and my dad died in that house. I never had anything significant happen there, though. The entire house did moan and groan and many of the lights flickered constantly when we first moved in there. I thought it was just the way it was...but it just stopped after a few weeks.
I've had a few friends that've had some experiences, too. It's always interesting when perfectly sane people recount seemingly insane and emotionally traumatic events.
I'm pretty sure that if someone had dozens of "orbs" that there would likely be a long history of activity before that discovery. |
