Hmmmmmm. I don't know if I'm going to make it or not. I want to! But I wouldn't get there till saturday evening (around 8:30-9:00) and then I'd have to be on my way back by noonish. | ||

You could get in and stay for the fire, get up and ride for a few then head home. Sure you have to leave at noon? I could stay late in the day to ride. | ||

Well M2nc and Webethumpin left NC at 4:30 this afternoon. Two orange Ulys - one looks like a bagger, the other like an adventure bike! They should be in Roanoke tonight by 9-9:30 and will meet up with NUTS tomorrow AM. Everyone have fun and be safe! | ||

310 miles to home, after 360 Yesterday and 290 the day before. Pass out is right! I had a most enjoyable time and have already requested the time off next year. Excellent company, riding and the food wasn't half bad either. That sandwich will forever be known as... "The NUTS" Mark, Gary, Matt, Carlos, Webe, John thanks for a great time. I designate Matt all-time firewood gatherer! | ||

 Why honey, You've got permagrin! What a great weekend!! Mark, thank you so much! Tell mom and dad too please. You did an excellent job. Watching Mark, Gary and John tear it up was inspiring. Mayonaisse crazy guys come up from NC. Had me laughin inside my helmet. Jason, "homeboy" what a suprise to talk to someone from my hometown! Western Wildcats,Baby!! Mike, hope you and them NC boys had a good ride. Glad I left when I did as the truck puked a bunch of tranny fluid on the way home. Something about those hills of WV. I'll let you school me out in Hocking. I learned alot about my Buell and riding this weekend. Honored to have met such good people. Simply awesome. 300 miles today. 250 miles riding home from WV. and the rest on a poker run when i got home. which i won $200 at!! I had a "Grate" time this weekend. i also met some "Grate" people........ "Mayonnaise" a lot of stories about this trip....  A BIG THANKS go to Mark for putting this whole thing together, and a SUPER BIG THANKS to Marks Mom2 and Dad for a fantastic dinner 2 nights in a row. well i am pretty damn tired. i will post some pics of the whole ordeal tomorrow.. | ||

I didn't do half bad, I was only out for 24 hours (Saturday evening to Sunday evening) but I clocked over 500 miles. I could not get in a grove today in the twistys, must've been the lack of sleep. I was pretty glad nobody was up for some more fast riding, I would've been left in the dust. I had a freaking blast sitting at the campfire last night. You guys are great. Can't wait for next year, I'll be able to get the time off work and ride with everybody. | ||

Had a great time this weekend. It was a lot of fun. Webe and I broke 1400 miles this weekend with 500+ miles today. The Tank did great on its first major outing. Even with the air brake on the back, the bike was getting mid-50mpg on the way home. Mark - Great get together. I thank you and you parents for your hospitality. Here are a few shots of Cubby, Scooter and the rest of the Mouseketeers. Roanoke VA - Webe - His bike, Tank and Super Chicken.  Somewhere in West VA - The Log Cabin Grill for breakfast  Action shots - Wolf (leading), JimDuncan69, Toona, Wiley E. looking for room to pass. The front three rode together and stayed this close almost all day. Only two exceptions, once when JimDuncan69 decided to check out the neighbor's driveway and when they got a lot closer.  Me looking back at Nuts piloting the Super Chicken.  Webe and Nuts rode together most of the day.  As the West Virginia SC Rally rides off into the sunset.  The End! (aka Ass-less Chaps)  | ||

Nuts, You're leaning the wrong way brutha'! And I though you were a finally tuned rider  . You guys have spoiled Ole' Nuts with this ride. He proceeded to call when he got home and pour salt into the wound by regailing me with glorious story after story. I doubt he will be happy with our 100 mile rides (with snuff breaks every 20 miles) anymore. I guess my only recourse is to start riding more and polishing less  . | ||

You just can't beat the WVSC events: Truck Passing 101 Finding your way: HEY!! We should have turned there!! Maximum Braking:ZTL Demo. Proper Following distance: IS THAT A BRAKE LIGHT??!! Followed by.... Buell Demolition Derby all of which took place within a 10 second time frame. | ||

Gary and I are talking about doing a pre-WVSC-ride and scope out some other roads, take some pics of the turns and try to plan some local road thrashing rides. Something like a 2 hour morning ride, do lunch. Go back the camp ground and pick up any late arrivals then take another ride. Return for dinner and then do what ever... more riding, camp fire, Buell demolition derby, deer chasing, wheelie 101.... whatever comes up. I will let you know when we get a chance to do it. But I don't have a weekend off until October  | ||

WELL,I'VE ALSO HAD A PERMAGRIN SINCE THIS WEEKEND. THANKS GUYS FOR PROBABLY THE BEST STREET RIDE EVER. THE EXTRA STUNTS WERE VERY SPECIAL. I GUESS I NEED TO WORK ON THAT TRUCK PASSING 101 WVA STYLE. WOLFRIDGERIDER, THANKS FOR SETTING THE RIDE UP & ALSO THANK JACK & JUDY FOR GREAT SOUTHERN HOSPITALITY. LET ME KNOW IF YOU WANT ANOTHER RIDER TO SCOUT THOSE NEW ROADS FOR NEXT YEAR.
