Nuts - You are reading my mind. I have been from Tazewell to Marion on 16 and it was a blast. It would be fun riding most the length of the state of WV on 16. A small change in plans. I am going to head closer to Roanoke and either hotel or camp Thursday night. That way we can meet somewhere in your area Friday morning and ride from there. Wolf - Has everyone decided on camping yet? |

We have a few committed to sleeping in the great outdoors so, I think camping has won. If we can get everyone in the overflow camping area between 6 and 6:30 Friday night regardless of where "they" plan on staying I will lead the ride for dinner. As it stands now, it looks like we have 8 to 12 riders! |

Carlos, we may want to run 16 home; that'd be a more direct route for you. Let me know what you need in terms of campsite or motel accommodations, I've got a few in mind. Leaving from "The 'Noke" presents us with some other options for seeing both Virginia's. I'd like to show another Badwebber the plethora of quality curves I get to rail compulsively. Are you GPS compatible? I'll need to throw my Maps in the Uly cases in case we find ourselves at a dead-end with banjo music playing. NUTS |

Carlos is not running GPS and there are no longer any Uly cases, they were eaten by the Dragon. He'll only have a tank bag and a Ventura 45 liter bag on the back. Just e-mail the motel names/numbers and I'll let you know where I make his reservation. Kristi |

Until they put that Rotax in the Uly frame I don't think I'll miss it much. I still have an extreme fondness for Buell, just waiting to be wowed again. NUTS |

I don't think firing up a chainsaw in a State park would get us invited back next year But I like the way you think.... We can always raid my folks firewood pile.... |

If anyone happens to have a West Virginia Atlas and Gazzetteer: Check out route 16 from Harrisville South; Not a bad way to cruise into a Buell rally.NUTS Looks like I'll get to show M2NC one of my favorite twisty routes after downing the worlds greatest BLT and Egg sandwich and having only recently awoke from the night before's festivities at our local riders' group malt therapy. Run-on sentences are caused by excessive excitement. |

16 is GREAT!! I have made the run from Harrisville to Grantsville more times than I can remember. Sometimes on 2 wheels, sometimes on 4 wheels that became 2 wheels in some of the turns. You guys better show up VERY HUNGRY. I talked to Mom2 last night and as always there will be more food than we could ever eat. I am getting STOKED!! I washed the ULY last night and gave it a good check up. I have all my camping gear staged in the garage ready to be loaded. FYI KEEP A EYE OUR FOR BAMBI!! |

Will be riding in from the eastern panhandle on Thursday and stay at the Heritage Inn. I like camping but use a CPAP machine to sleep with and you don't want to sleep near Darth Vader all night. I have been looking at the WV DeLorme map and WV 16 looks great. I'm familiar with the eastern side of WV from Morgantowm, Fairmont, Grafton, Philippi, Buchannon, Weston on east to the panhandle. Rode 32 from White Sulphur Springs to Gauley Bridge and back on 60 back to White Sulphur Springs and liked that loop alot. Can wait to hit 16. |

I talked to Mom2 last night and as always there will be more food than we could ever eat. Good, then I hope there is room for one more. Webethumpin, another 'er and my co-worker with a Uly, is riding along. So nuts there will be two Orange Ulys following you Friday. Sorry for the late notice but he was up for one of two promotions and did not know his schedule until yesterday. It must be good to be wanted. Webe also has a GPS unit so we will have some hope to find our way. you don't want to sleep near Darth Vader all night My son's name is Luke so I guess that will still happen. I am ready to ride. Luckily I still have the soft luggage from the M2 and my old Honda so I will have room for all my gear though a bit strange looking. Nuts, I will see you Friday. We are going to head out from Kinston by 4pm which puts us at the Hotel around 9pm, give and take a food stop. We are staying at the Ramada Inn on Franklin Rd. What time do you want to meet up on Friday? |

M2nc & Webe, That's right around the corner from me. I can be there anytime after 06:30. My GPS says we're 265 miles from Harrisville, as long as we're out of here by 09:00 we're good. Give me a call if you need anything. NUTS |
