I am getting close to the point of getting a Buell again and am starting to make plans as to what I want. Is there a seat for the S2 that has a back rest, maybe like the corbin for the S3? Also, can the wide covers from the S3T fit on the S2? |

Yep, Corbin sells one for the S2 w/ backrest and they are very nice. My uncle bought one for his S2 and it is a huge improvement over the stocker. |

CrashB......Could you get us a photo of the corbin seat w/ backrest on the S2? As far as I no, Corbin never made a backrest for an S2...The aftermarket had a few, but none are available anymore... The info would be appreciated by many if one is available...Hankb |

I miss those types of movies. They don't make em' like that anymore. Everything now is computer-generated, over-the-top, and fancy editing. "They Live" is a classic. |

I know for fact that the seat on his S2 is a Corbin. As far as the backrest goes, it is one that, once inserted, could be laid back flat against the tailsection or straight up. It has a post that just inserts into the back of the seat through a slot. I believe that it is also a Corbin piece but I'm not sure. I'll try to get a picture, but my uncle works long hours and it's hard to track him down sometimes. |

I'd very much like to see the details on that "Corbin" S2 seat with backrest. The numerous times I've spoke with Corbin people in person and the several times I've emailed them they made it very perfectly clear that they do not and will not have a backrested seat for the S2. Not saying you're mistaken, but Corbin has said otherwise. I used to have a link and contact info for the builder of the bacrest in Court's pics. |

The backrest in the picture was on the S-2 Bruce Zimmerman (a fairly noted rider and son of Zeke Zimmerman) and built by Tim of West-Tek in Topeka, KS. I haven't heard from Tim in a while but Bruce, at Topeka Harley-Davidson/Buell (the MOST AWARDED HD DEALERSHIP IN THE WORLD) could provide you info. I see that Al at American Sportbike has been dealing with Tim. I'd suggest you contact Al and have him ask Tim if he could or would make another. Court |

That's a very clever piece. I'd like one. Probably wouldn't work with stock hard bags, though, would it? |
