After 20,000 service the surging stopped for a week or so then came back. Tech say there are no trouble codes showing up so they cant fix it. "you will just have to deal with until something finally brakes or shows a trouble code." My concer is getting run over by a car when this happens. Please any help would be great |

Is there a chance your throttle is sticking open? |

Check for an intake leak. Get bike started, hold throttle open to about 2000 RPM, then squirt some 2+2 or brake clean on your intake seals. If the idle jumps up, you have an intake leak. Replace both seals, ensuring that you adequately lubricate the new seals prior to re-assembly. Clean oil is fine, silicone o-ring lube is also good. Hope this helps Chris |
