One of my riding buds put us in for 4 tickets about 2 weeks ago...Indy said the tickets are not on sale yet ..they are taking names and credit card numbers and we will be notified when the tickets are charged. Thats how I understood it anyway.

Fellow Club Members....I am thinking about offering to lead a Club Ride ride thru Southern Indiana on August the 12...I will deem it the Southern Indiana Tight and Twisty...or the SI/TT..The ride will consist of 300+ miles of two lane narrow country roads, no gravel, very little State Highway thru Floyd, Clark, Harrison, Perry, Spencer and Crawford County...The ride will be open to anyone that is an "accomplished rider" no beginners and no Goldwings, or Electric Glides please...as they will not have fun.... I will lead it at a "Sport Touring" pace... This is not a race pace by any means. I would not recommend two up but it is doable... maybe. I think there should be a limit of about 15 riders as the line just gets too long. We will start near New Albany and end there... and I need a minimum number of riders of at least 5. I have limited primitive camping in my wooded back yard if needed, and motels are 5 miles away... anyone interested? Al Luntzel

Regarding InsidePass, I can do the Elkhart Lake day but dont want to go it alone. Anyone else interested? I would jet up there Monday evening, and come back Wednesday mornin, but am open for suggestions.

The time frame on the SI/TT is: Kickstands up at 8:300am in New Albany, then we should be back in New Albany by 5:30pm or in Corydon, IN at 5pm. A lunch stop is included after about 114 miles.

sorry i didn't get back to you..........(of course tonite was the nite i was going to post my rsvp and come along with wade. i shouldn't procrastinate so often

anyway it looks as if it would have been canceled anyway.

to tell you the truth, doin' 500 miles (100 down, 300 there, 100 back)in one day and workin' the next was a definite concern for me. i haven't iron butted it for a long time.

please don't give up on me. wade and i like the southern indiana stuff.

i'd still like to see the area

It will be much better when it cools off and the leaves are changing colors..I will post it again maybe in October, a few more riders might be interested, and perhaps a Saturday would be better too.

That would be great to meet you South Benders. I know it is a long way for "Flatlanders", that is why I mentioned a motel or the camping option...the night before. The Saturday option might be better for guys that have to work on Monday..If you make it I can guarantee you will have all the curves you can handle in one day, pretty much non stop from the git-go.

Yea, we'd only be able to do it on the weekend...preferably a 3 day weekend. And I still have to talk to my buddy about it.
Basically any federal holiday we get off, and as long I don't have drill that weekend...

Fellow Bullers, we at Harley-Davidson Buell are having our DEMO DAY this Saturday, August 25th. Riding starts at 10AM to 4PM. Come on out and try out the new models. Sorry no 1125's yet!

unfortunately, most members quit attending, which caused even the few hardcore attendees to give up.

although jeff still gives us access to the meeting room, it has been months since anyone showed up to use it.

some of us still get together to ride. we use this forum and/or phone to communicate. there are still lots of good riding days ahead. if you are interested, you can always reach out and see who responds.

today is demo day at hd/b of b from 9:00-4:00. i should be working registration. drop by if you want to meet and talk about it. i think wademan will attend, too.

i know that that i am always up for new guys to ride and attend moto events with. let's hear more from you
