I guess my dumb ass brought this on myself. Long story short, after recently finding my balance point, I've been doing a lot of stunting... I always told myself that I'd buy a cheap Jap bike for that, but with the power of my 12R, and how sweet she looks, I couldn't help myself. "God damn kids" I know... Anyway, I was just about up when I hit the bump. My foot bounced off the brake, and I jerked the throttle... If you've ever been bucked by a horse you know the feeling. I went down, and the bike followed. My parts list now consists of; -Shift lever -Blinkers -Grips -Mirrors -Front Rim -Exhaust pipe -Plastics for the tail section -Lens for the tail light -New license plate Any suggestions on the mirrors (I want to lose those POS stock ones) and levers? Also, Does anyone have any experience with the Under Seat Panel (#9132) that Al has on American Sport Bike? Guess I can't bitch though, I had it coming. -Blinkers Aftermarket ones are really cheap, about $10 a pair, and they look better than the stock ones. -Grips $10 or less for the cheapies You can get those at most any bike shop. The rest is pretty much Buell specific. Good luck, and I hope you really did learn from this. It took me more than just one spill, and more than one bike. |

I have the 9132 Under Seat Panel on my bike. It's really sweet looking. I've been told that the brake lights are not very bright though. Looking at them myself, they seem plenty bright to me. As far as levers go, I have the CRG Hand Clutch and Brake levers which look and work great. I also have the LSL CNC Billet Footpegs with the 1" base drop with CNC Billet Shift and Brake Levers. |

Levers? Pazzo Racing levers. I'm a Llama when it comes to mechanical work and it took 10 minutes to install them. I bought the short clutch and brake. Thought being, that if the bike went down I didn't want the ends broken off. gomoto.com has them for 160.00 with free shipping. Took 4 days to get them through Priority USPS mail. |
