The search function is fun: Posted by Molly_Hatchet, 4/25/07: yes good faith is the idea..to help our fellow badwebbers and those they know to get the basic safety gear needed for them selves their children and sometimes friends....we are not offering new icon or dainese gear here the stuff is usualy older maybe a tear here or there but still plenty safe...i dont think to many people will go out of their way to get an older jacket or gloves or whatnot..if so well then..thats their problem things like that sort themselves out eventualy...most of the people that have posted need are known on this forum...so far someone trying to get something for free just cause it is free hasnt been an issue....and the idea is when i can u should pitch in if u got something...pay it forward...so far , seems ta work . thanx to everybody that has been kind enough to give...there will be many more safer riders out there this season." I guess his idea for pay it forward is you send him cash and he says thank you. Posted by Ulywife, 4/25/07: "Currently the Pay It Forward project has three custodians: Molly_hatchet (Brian), Tx05xb12s (Philip) and Ulywife (Kristi). Remember, you must be signed in to view the RAN/Pay It Forward Section. We welcome any comments or suggestions and hope that this is just the beginning of Pay It Forward." He's a "custodian" of Pay It Forward?! Ummm, yeah, right, whatever. Definitely let Ulywife know what this dude's done, but odds are good that you're out $15. I can't believe the dude can't just cut you a check for a lousy $15!! |

JP- Greg punched up a hard right at a fork but I was tuned into following the road we were on. A split second of indecisiveness had me headed straight down the middle... Made some nice squealing sounds with my tires, and received zero cool points. I guess that's what happens when you're not totally "on." |

That fork surprised me.We had just moments earlier discussed "the second right" but i was unsure of when it'd occur.Imagine if you'd had seen it and not me? BLAMMO!!! Definatly some cool new roads to expand on. JP Hudson Valley is pretty cool huh?? |

Yeah, we were talking about the route not a half a mile earlier but I think I'm only capable of memorizing 3 turns at a time. If I were the one in the lead the pack would have to slow to a crawl at every intersection and wait for me to get my bearings. I don't know how you navigate on the fly like that, but keep it up. JP- welcome back. You missed a ridiculous breakfast at Carl's. Holy friggin' crap that was a lot of food! |

I would like to suggest a ride, we go up Mount Washington in the after noon then at closing we pretend that something is wrong with one of the bikes and after 10 to 15 minutes we get it running, this clears the way down, there is no speed limet posted and have done this twice so far, it is a rush, like having nitros going down hill, my bike was orange the last time so do not know if I would be reconized me, but with the quiet exhaust they might not have noticed, you also need earplugs to keep your ears from the pressure they will clog on the way down, did it last year on my bagger and my ears would clog up and the bike would sound so quiet then I would swollow and would open them up and relize how loud the bike was, I am sure the whole mountain heard me had almost strait pipes with allot of down shifting at high rpms to keep it under control, but the buell was the best with the front brakes they have. also there is other good riding around the area. |

then at closing we pretend that something is wrong with one of the bikes and after 10 to 15 minutes we get it running, this clears the way down Funny guy..I did that on Log rd. yesterday. Our guys' were perplexed that i was riding 5mph slowly weaving l to r holding traffic back then..WWWWwaaaaaaaahhh! Is Mt. Washington paved? Only part way up right? We'll all figure something out Mike.Stick around and post often |

it is mostly paved and they are a few short areas of dirt but you can see good were they are and you can see it on the ride up and then down we go. |

Pick a day for MTW Boyz, I'm in! if you are not on a Uly, you might not need to worry about traffic and going fast on the MTW Auto Road - I'm perfectly happy to enjoy the view! Now the ride up there has some of the sweetest sweepers in the state! PS - I'm on a every other weekend schedule - no kids this coming weekend, kids the weekend after.Weekdays are fine if I'm in town (I'm in Boston on 8/19-8/22), except for Mondays and the fridays attached to kids weekends...... |

I'm up for MTW. Sunday's looking pretty good, weather-wise. Now, to find a not-so-boring route north... White Mountains, maybe? (Message edited by scotty_j on August 07, 2007) |

Newfields is belowe Epping wich is wher they have the drag racing that is not far from the rt 16 wich is the way I have gone to the white mountains not as boring as rt 93 and has places to stop along the way, one of my faveret rides is leaving hamton beach and there is a road that rides the coast and has some nice corners but do not know about speeding, just letting you guys know what is around the area of newfields and scott would proubly know alot more than me. on rt 16 in the mountains there is the army store that the owner just got shot there a few weeks ago, also if anyone is interested in modle trains ther is a good place to go a litttle before Mnt washinton |

I know some alternatives to Rt-16 Yes I am next to Epping and 8 miles from the track. I haven't been there since the hot weather came in, but have dozens of runs there on the S3 and another 200 or so runs on my old bike..... Some of these guys were at my place for the ride up to Bike Week. |

Ustorque...no such thing as definite plans with this group...we meet at the 'normal time' at the 'normal place' and ride 'normal speeds' to places where only Greg can get us home from... This is as hard line a plan as you'll see until late Saturday night and then it will be modified on Sunday morning another 3 or 4 times...just check the posts before you head out the door. ...and welcome to the madness!!! |

Oh yeah...by the way...I've got clearance for Sunday - the woman is working so I get to go out and play!!! I probably won't be home till late Saturday night or early Sunday morning so I won't have a couch available for you southern boys to crash on...sorry... Scotty - want to hook up in Upton at the Dunks we met up at before Laconia? Then we can head to a meeting place with Nate, Greg, Jim (& friend) and then head up to Scott_in_nh... |
