I will be working for a little while at the shop on Sunday. I could meet up with you guys at Carls around 12. I will be riding the shop's Firebolt since I haven't put the street crap back on my bike yet. I am racing on the 12th and then again on the 2nd, so I might be running the Firebolt for a while on the street. |

Just set up my breather; I changed my design and wound up with a 3 ft length of leftover tubing so if anyone wants it, speak up! Everything worked out fine except for having to "E-Z out" one of the screws in the airbox... Friggin' folks in Wisconsin and their addiction to LocTite! So Eric, how often should I drain this thing? |

damnut just called a while ago, He is broken down. Blew a plug out of the motor. Threads and all. happened crossing the bridge to Bear Mtn. He is looking for a helicoil right now. I think you need a special tool for them, and it needs to be perfectly straight. Then you need to worry abot the shavings in the valves.....uuhhhggggg! Good luck to him! |

Aww..man.Bad news for sure.A Helicoil firstly requires drilling the bore oversize for tapping an oversize thread to accept the new Helicoil. He'll be trailering home. U-Haul is his best bet. Carl's?? Realistically i think we'll see maybe 7 bikes'. I plan on being there very shortly after 9a.I'll wait for everyone to finish up with their breakfast before departing there. |

See you at 9, Captain. And I think JP trailered, so Jim shouldn't be in such a bad way. Damn. Sorry, Jim, but I guess yer bike just knew that this was the end of your season, and she's pissed at you. Best of luck to you both... (Message edited by scotty_j on August 04, 2007) |

Another good time guys (and gal!) Sorry, but my track log was corrupted so no instant replay. It only showed a start and end point off the coast of Ghana. I don't think we were on the African continent... Or were we? There's no telling where Greg takes us sometimes. Time for a beer to take the edge off all this coffee & adrenalin! |

Hey just wanted to let you guy's know that I had the most fun riding with you guy's today, never liked the formation riding like the harley clubs do, I even got to go the the vanilla bean cafe, so it was a perfect day for me, and hope to do it again soon. I got on the mass pike in ten minutes from were we where, and home at 3:30 so I think it only took me 1 hour 10 minutes to get home |

Yeah,we stopped less than 2 miles from home after leaving Nate and got Two beers, and i had a shot of "Jack".But just before our stop...WE GOT STOPPED!!!!! I was ready to throw a tantrum but,the polite Bristol cop informed us we both need the required "Inspection stickers" ( Sue say's we got let off because of her politeness) and LET US GO!!!! That's an ultra rare occasion to be let go.I'm happy. Mike....It was a real honor to meet you.We look forward to many rides with you in the future. We have a fellow Badwebber in Nearby (to you) Newfields NH,and we should all plan a weekend trip out there. I hope Jim is doing ok... |

So I was getting a armored jacket from a board member "Molly_Hatchet" out of the pay it foreward section. It was nothing special but better than nothing... This was back in may. I sent him the money for it, only 15.00 to cover shipping. so the price was right. I think it is a good deal as my wife needed a jacket. After he rec'd cash in mail he "promises" to get it in the mail "shortly" I wait a month before contacting, he states his wife is sick w/ cancer and he has been busy. I say okay take care of family first I will email in a couple weeks. Another month goes by, I email he still has not been to a mail box, Okay I suggest if he can't get to mail box in next couple weeks just send the cash back... Another month later and still no jacket, I email to just send cash back, he must be to busy taking care of his wife....Don't see how he will mail the cash back if he can't mail the jacket, but at this point I don't really care... No emails are replied to...2 were sent in 2 weeks.... The 3rd I state I will start a Thread all his own on Badweb if he don't reply to me... He Finally emails and tells me to basicly "f" myself..He only makes 10.00 per hour and He ain't sending The money back. Now it is NOT the point of the money, 15.00 is not the end of my world here, BUT The Point HE IS A THIEF and I HATE them! ****My question is "What would youz do at this point"?? I have almost all his emails and mine durring the last few months... |
